"Nice choice."Ohoho, Stella liked her. Someone with (apparently) battle prowess and an aptitude for not liking a lot of people. Cradling the truck the demititan also made her way to a cashier and paid for the damned truck.

Out the door the girl went, into the parking lot all jubilant that she was gonna get home in time.

And then she heard a crashing and a roar in the distance: something large and reptilian? Stella couldn't sense it properly in her now-fading excitable state.

A metallic crunch was heard as, suddenly, a drakon flopped out from behind Toys R Us; a large sedan flew with one toss of its head and landed a very far distance away.

Stella inwardly groaned and with a snap of her fingers, made the truck disappear to her cabin and her sword appear in her hand. With a frown as the thing slowly turned towards the entrance, she noticed white feathery things attached to its neck -- or whatever that part of its body was. "Is it just me or does that thing have angel wings?"

"It'd make a nice pet," Stella mused, as the drakon stared them down for just a second, breathing so loudly she could hear it from even almost a hundred feet away without concentrating. And then, with a loud roar it lunged for the duo by the entrance, leaving in its wake a trail of broken concrete, dirt, and cracks in the now near-empty parking lot.

The large serpentine creature opened its mouth wide, and out shot a spray of green liquid towards the two girls....

Swiftly, Stella disappeared from the entrance and reappeared where the tossed sedan lay on its hood. A shopping cart had run into it from the force of the thing's flailing; with a wave of her hand, a gust of wind sent it flying at the drakon's head.

There was a loud crash as the shopping cart hit its mark and the arrow nearly did; hissing in pain, the drakon flailed its head and apparently decided to go for its nearest target -- Chiara. With another roar, it suddenly opened its mouth wide and let loose a larger stream of venom at her.

Swearing to herself, Stella swung her sword in a circular motion towards the sky; a cloud, dark and rumbling began to form -- but that would take time to form. With a burst of wind to speed her up, she charged at the drakon's back.

The drakon flailed, trying to shake Chiara off as Stella sent another shopping cart flying at it. The flailing made it crash into the wall, but it distracted the thing long enough for it to turn to her and for the demititan to shout as thunder rumbled overhead from her cloud: "Incoming!"

With a flick of her wrist, a lightning bolt came down from the sky at the drakon, hitting it between the eyes. It roared in pain and in its flailing hit the wall of the store, sending debris flying as Stella sent down another bolt at it for good measure.

The drakon roared in pain as the second bolt and two knives hit it, collapsing amidst the debris of the ruined wall and then trying to raise its head, spitting venom up at Chiara again. Stella held her fire, waiting to see what the other girl would do next.

Raising itself weakly, the drakon lunged for Chiara as Stella waved her hand again and sent down another lightning bolt from her cloud, feeling slightly light-headed now.

OOC: Third lightning bolt, shouldn't the drakon look like a French fry now? ^^

BIC: Stella struck the drakon with lightning again, rain pouring down on them. Chiara's hair stuck to her face, she spat out a curl and readied her bow, her fingers slipping along the shaft of the arrow.

[ooc: No idea, but that's offensive to french fries. Give Chiara the kill blow.]

Even from quite a distance away, Stella could smell the burning flesh of the drakon, who seemed to be twitching weakly on the ground now. Lifting its head weakly, it spat venom at the other girl again and tried to raise itself.

Sighing, Stella waved her hand and the cloud dissipated. The rubble of the wall lay in a large heap on the sidewalk, almost gaping into the store. Perhaps she should use some rain to wash up th--- ha. Nah.

"Beautiful, really. Are its angel wings still there or did they explode too?"
