The son of Demeter was wearing a green t-shirt that had Cabin #4 written on it with a bundle of wheat engraved on it along with a pair of camoe pants and black boots. He tapped the top of the show casing and pursed his lips, thinking what to buy.

Cameron walks in, a few drachma dangling in his pocket. After winning a bet with some Hermes kids (how that happened he would never know), he had some cash burning in his pocket. There was a fellow camper perusing the goods as well, and he waved. "Hey man, don't think I've seen you around camp." He should not have been as nonchalant as he was; some of these kids at camp were absolute psychos.

He exhaled as he took his hands out of his pocket and put them in his back pockets instead. Derek heard someone come inside and greet him. He nodded in his direction and offered him a handshake. "Oh, well in that case then, I'm Derek Vinyl, son of Demeter." He gave him a smile, waiting for him to respond with his name and god parent.

Cameron grabbed his hand and shook it, smiling with a sense of swagger to it. "Cameron Rodriguez, son of Apollo. Nice to meet you." Still somewhat iffy if this kid was safe, but he seemed alright. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary on sight. He looked at the merchandise in the store, maybe he would just get a ton of sugary treats no kid should be allowed to have.

"Likewise." He let go and leaned over the countertop to look over the candy." I could go for a bag of skittles right about now.." He said to himself as he tapped the glass. Derek scanned over the sweets and salts. "And I can go for some pretzels."The demigod added with a smirk as he placed a hand on his waist.

He nodded. "Dude, I feel you. It should be illegal to keep this sort of stuff behind the counter." Cameron's stomach panged as he looked over the chocolate and the nachos that just dripped with fake cheese. The son of Apollo knew he could probably synthesize these sorts of things over at the mess hall, but there was a sort of magic about freshly-made junk foods that didn't appear out of thin air.

Derek rubbed his hands together and came up with an idea. "Hey, Cameron, what about I buy...the sweats, ie. The skittles, twix, and milky ways and you buy the salts like those nochas and maybe even some pizza? We could have a pig out." He offered, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he waited for an answer. "That is if you want to."

A wide smile cracked across his face, revealing silver fillings from long ago. "That sounds disgustingly brilliant." he said, already trying to figure out what he could buy and how much. The imaginary tastes of junk food already danced on his tongue.

"Cool beans." He smiled and paid for a whole bag of candies which included Twix, Milkyway, Skittles, Sour Patch kids, Gummy Bears and things of that nature. Derek leaned against the wall waiting for Cameron to get his stuff. This was gonna be a wonderful friendship.

Cameron gingerly picked up bags of chips and pretzels and salsas, trying not to crush anything. The amount of food he carried was almost unfeasible, and he had a bit of a time juggling all of it. The son of Apollo added another bag of grease and salt to his arms, and carried it over to the register to pay. The person running the shop looked bored, and Cameron gave him enough drachma to pay for everything.

The son of Demeter watched as Cameron ordered the greasy, high in sodium content. Derek couldn't help, but smirk when he saw him carry the bags of chips and such. "So where can we have this little 'pig out'?" He asked him, scratching under his chin as he watched the chasier ring up the items.
