How could we not it's SNOW

Everyone was talking about all the snow that was falling around New York but Mr. Grumpy didn't feel like the cold so he didn't let any fall on the camp. Screw him, you'll just sneak out and have an unofficial snow day. Good thing you memorized that body temperature regulating spell or else you'd freeze to death. As you chanted the spell, you stepped out the barrier and enjoyed the cold. Hey, it never bothered you anyways. That was horrible do't do that again.

Aria walked around, the white fluff falling on the ground all around the Camp borders. Why would Mr.D hardly not ever let the weather in? For Olympus sake!, it was snow for crying out loud! She understood that Mr.D had been punished by his father, Zeus to spend a certain amount of time at Camp Half-Blood, but did he have to punish the campers as well? Aria walked outside of the Athena cabin, heading towards the woods. Coming upon the boundaries of the camp, she walked out of saftey, into the open world of New York.

This is so fun. Mr. D needs to get his head out of hisowstubbedmytoestubbedmytoeow. Dang snow not letting you look where you're going. It's so peaceful too. But you could've done without making the snowmen look like the ones on doctor who. Eh whatever. This is really the way how to party. Hey, it's a girl from camp. What's she doing here? I guess I'm not the only one to sneak out. Wonder if she's cold. "Hey, over here!" just wavelike crazy and maybe she'll se through all the snow.

Aria looked towards the sound of the voice. Oh crap... she thought. Her grey eyes stormy, she prepared to pull her sword. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a high set ponytail, her bangs framing her face, sweep over to the left side. It was speckled with the snow. Dressed in Her CHB shirt, jeans, a light gray jacket, and fuzzy boots, she was walking through the snow. Was it another camper? Mortal? Monster in disguise? Aria decided to play it safe. She took small deliberate steps, still walking and avoiding the voice as much as possible.

Huh, maybe she didn't hear. Let's walk towards her. Wait, she could be a monster, hm. Take a note of your surroundings, and done. Now, let's go. "Hey, can you hear me?"

Hand still on her sword, Aria looked up towards the voice once more. This time, she met the boy's eyes. She stopped dead her her tracks with no response.

"So, you couldn't resist the snow either huh? That's nice, at least I don't have to build the snowmen alone. I'm Sebastian. Son of Hecate. How about you?"

Aria stuttered over her own words. "A-aria Herondale. D-daughter of Athena. No. I couldn't resist the snow either. I don't think that it is fair that Mr.D punishes everyone because Zeus punished him."

"Yeah, that guys a total dingus. So, we have a winter wonderland virtually to ourselves. Where shall we start?" He smiled brightly at her.

She returned his smile, brightly. "I'm not exactly sure." Aria was from Georgia were snow basically never was. Besides that point, she never really had seen the white, wet, fluffy matter. Sure, studied it, but never actually... played in it.

"How about an old fashioned snowball fight?" his smile turned slightly mischievous. "Ten minutes to build your snow fort and make as many snowballs as you can. Are you up for it?"

Aria had let go of her sword now. Obviously the boy was no harm. She pointed her snow covered finger at him, he eyes gleaming with that Athena challenge spark. "You are so on!"

"GO" He ran and immediately went behind a tree. It gave him extra cover and easy back scratching. He started piling snow around him, petting and molding the snow till his fort was three feet tall. Then he started making snowballs as fast as he could, then check to se how Aria was doing.

Aria took off running to the other direction, quickly scanning the land. Huh... a rock. It was a large rock, about half of her height. She built her fort behind it, though half of it was sticking out from behind the rock. There was no roof, of course, but it would work. She started making her snow-balls. She had a nice sized pile of them, all packed to the nicest quality.

"10!" he started counting down. He had the snowballs in his hand and was read to throw them"...3!...2!...1! HAIL" as he screamed hail (because fire seemed inappropriate for the situation) he threw snowballs into the air, his aim hindered as he had to strike from above.

Aria dogged the first few, but one caught her on the top of the head. She stood up, a few of her snowballs in hand and started throwing them at him, surprisingly quick. She laughed quietly inside every time one struck him.

"TAKE COVER!" He screamed and ducked behind his fort. Suddenly he got and idea and started manipulating the mist, making it seem like there were two of him. Then he began his assault again

Aria hit the mist form of Sebastian a few times. Seeing it had no effect, it clicked in her brain. He was using magic. "No fair, Sebastian!"She said it in a laughing tone, meaning no offense.

"You mess up my aim, I mess up yours!" he joked as the mist copy disappeared. This was an amazing day, and few things could make it turn bad.

Aria laughed at him. Playing dirty huh? She ducted down into her fort, behind the rock. If he wanted his next few snowballs do actually do some damage, he would have to come closer. She crouched down, snowballs in hand, ready to attack.

Great, now he has to get closer. He walked slowly, trying not to make any noise. Then he stubbed his toe again and screamed ow.

Aria laughed, jumping out from behind the rock and starting to throw the cold snowballs at him. It was a low blow sence he hurt himself, but she would take what she could get.

"I yield!" he screamed dramatically and fell to the floor. Then he started laughing out loud

Aria couldn't help but laugh even harder. She stepped over the fort and walked over to Sebastian. She held out her hand, offering him some help to get up.

"Nah, I'd rather make snow angels." he started making one
