Lysarian Destroys (Private)

Lysander had taken a trip to Vegas (with his mother), for a couple of different reasons. One, he wanted to buy Arian a gift before the dance, and two, he just thought it'd be cool because all of the celebrities and such. He had been in Vegas for around a day. He had left he and his mother's hotel room and headed to the nearest gift shop he could, and tried to find something super nice for her, because he really liked her, but also something reasonable in price, that he could afford. He looked around for something, stumped of what to get. "What to get," he kept muttering, looking around.

Arian scared Lysander when she said that. When he realized it was her, he smiled and said, in response, "Arian, hey. You look pretty," he complemented. Lysander's heart raced a bit; how convenient that he would run into her at Vegas at the same exact place. Luckily, he hadn't found anything yet, or he might've had to do some explaining. Lysander froze for a second, before asking, "if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here?" He didn't want to sound weird, but he was just curious. Lys looked outside of the gift shop windows, and instantly saw it; the Lotus Casino. He wondered if that'd actually be any fun- he wasn't into gambling, but games-and-such-wise? He could take Arian there, and they could possibly have the time of their lives!

"Oh, cool. And yeah, sure, it looks nice- we leave after the rain passes, though. I don't want any trouble in there." He went inside, examining it. He admitted, it was extremely impressive. He looked at all of the different games and such. "Want to try out one?" he asked, going over to one of the games. He looked at all of the people around them. It seemed really cool in here. Although, he had a weird feeling in his stomach about this place. Lys went over to one of the games, before turning around to a lady in a suit that had approached them.

"Will you two be staying?" she inquired.

"Oh, no, we're just here until the rain passes," he replied, smiling.

"Mhm." She walked away.

Arian walked over to the Casino, it was alive with colorful neon lights, party music could be heard and people in pretty getups walked around. She gave her coat off at the reception and the woman behind the counter smiled at her, handing them two cards.

"Here are your cards."

"Thank you! How much money do I have on this?"

"Oh dear, unlimited money," the woman purred and turned away, leaving Arian frowning. Unlimited money? Was that even mathematically possible?

Lysander looked at the women oddly. He was feeling severely suspicious about this place- he felt beneath it's party-like atmosphere, it was a big scam. Whether it was a big scam of money or something else, he hadn't decided yet. But, if Arian might've ended up liking him for it, he would defiantly stay. "Unlimited money. Hmmmm- well, I suppose worthwhile we're here, we should actually do something, like play a game or eat or something along those lines." He glared outside, the rain still pouring. Lys went over to a old-fashioned arcade game- Pac Man.

"I haven't seen this game, in like, forever," he said, before starting to play.

Lysander became a bit obsessed; he started pressing many buttons and using the sticks, and before he knew it, he was hooked. Arian, despite him knowing her presence and her still fresh in his mind, began to slowly drift away. He pressed a red button on another game, starting to play that game. He then saw a hot tub, and quickly ran over to it. "I need to buy some trunks," he muttered, before buying some with his unlimited money.

"Would you like to check into to the hotel?"

"I mean- yeah!"

bic: Arian was obsessed by this game. How come she had never heard of it, it was the best thing ever! There were so many options and free upgrades she didn't even know where to start, she wanted to try everything out. With her smart brushes, she was painting a vivid hologram picture of a temple at sunset, the program recognizing she had painted a sea, copying the pattern of her brushes and animating the drawing so that the waves moved. Same with the olive tree branches. The painting was alive.

"Miss?" she asked a waitress. "Miss, how can I take this home?"

"Home? But you are home, darling."

Yes that was right, she was -- no she wasn't. Home was Naples. Home was camp. She frowned, looking at the lotus flower she held in her hand; she had been eating those for the past minutes and they were utterly delicious. They had this aroma of melon with an aftertaste of honey, absolutely to die for. Her clouded mind tried to regain some clarity.... something about eating flowers...she had to leave...?? Wait what, no she hadn't. This was the best place in the world, she was utterly lucky to be able to call it home. She put the flower in her mouth, feeling good, then stopped. This was wrong. No it wasn't! She was in danger -- what?
