    Catching Up Empty Catching Up

Naomi sighed. Another long morning had finally come to an end. Right after lunch, she had rushed here, to the lake, in hopes of catching a small break before having to go back to the chaos of the afternoon. She hadn't planned on swimming, so she wasn't wearing a swimsuit. Instead she was just wearing a camp half blood t-shirt and jean shorts. Her long chestnut hair was braided down her back, and she was hardly wearing any makeup. If someone saw her, she probably wouldn't even be considered a daughter of Aphrodite, and to Naomi, that was fine. There was just so much pressure to always be beautiful and well, sort of fake, that she would be crazy not to enjoy a break.

Gathering her thoughts, Naomi headed towards an relatively clear area of the lake's shore, and sat there, careful not to get to much sand in her clothes. She took off her shoes and dipped her feet into the cool water. It was nice, and she wished she could stay here all day.

ooc: sorry if this sucks. its like my first time in 6 months.

Edward Pearce walked along the shore of the lake. He was dressed in blue jeans and a button up blue and white paisley shirt. His jeans were rolled up so he could walk in the shallows and it was warm out so he had rolled the sleeves of his shirt. Of course he was given a schedule to follow during camp, but why would he ever follow a routine of classes? Right now he probably had Arts and Crafts or Greek History, but classes are for school. And the gods knew the last place our Mr. Pearce wanted to be was in school.

He was in a remarkable good mood. He hadn't been on a case for a week almost. It was peaceful in his life. His relationship with Nerissa was growing. It was all good in the hood (whut). Up until he saw a ghost. Not really a ghost, just someone he never thought he would find on this beautiful day, clear skies, not a cloud in sight. Naomi Willis. He smiled in her direction and awkwardly raised a hand in hello.
