Name: horace archilbald optimus maximum.
Age: seventeen years old.
Gender: male. horace is like he's made completely from testosterone. oh, and apart from that, he's bisexual. maaybe. horace is so confused about all of these emotions when he sees a guy he likes. maybe. don't tell anyone.
Eyes: a solid stormy gray. he wears glasses for reading. just because he's trying to act all sophisticated. they're thick black raybans and make him look dorky + hipster.
Hair: done in a gelled, handsome mess, yet short enough to be roman standard-approvable.
Height: six foot two.
Body Type: horace is tall and broad shouldered. he's bulky yet in proportion he's lean, balancing it out to make him look strong, but not ridiculous. he's got long fingers that are always moving, tapping about and fiddling, like he's got an electric current running through him all the time. he's agile and can move fast in a given amount of time, and his muscles are developed and hardwired for long and short distances.
to his facial appearance; he's got hard, edgy features, like a strong jawline and a straightly cut hairline. he's got a little scar that runs through his eyebrow, which gives him the look of a soldier.
Skin Color: tanned.
God Parent: he's a son of the great god jupiter. all in all, his heritage makes him well known around camp.
Mortal Parent: ciencia maximum.
Country of Origin: born in new rome, and never left it, really.
Pets: his mother has a serval cat (yeeees, i'm pretty sure you can get these; article here.) named jimmy. yup. jimmy.
Talents:
+ horace is a great fighter. he knows some hella good battle moves. he's best with his sword, but he's not bad at archery either, and he can use his pila well. being quick helps, though.
+ horace is a great climber. he can scale trees, buildings, houses, garages... anything thats available to him. he loves a good view.
+ he's fairly good a flirting, but he's pretty dorky and embarrassed around people he likes. just because he's a legacy of victoria doesn't mean he wins all the girls//guys.
+ volleyball. he plays ace and wing spiker occasionally, and he was happy to hear that in chb there were volleyball tournaments and kids who played it day by day.
Weapon**:
+ he's got an imperial golden three foot long sword. it turns into a simple bracelet he can tap three times to turn it back into his sword. this is supercharged with electricity, like clarisse's spear. he can fire this electricity up either by his powers, or by saying electrum out loud when holding it. the electricity can give you light shocks, but nothing permanently damaging. can cause confusion. stays charged for three posts. this was charmed by trivia kids.
+ he's also got a large imperial golden shield; it turns into a long golden rod, that if he presses a tiny button on the side, the shield spins out into it's full form.
Personality: horace is a ball of goof. he's pretty dorky, and honestly, if it wasn't for his father and his battle skills, he's not exactly an examplary roman. he giggles like a little girl sometimes, and he tells the worst jokes. "why did the chicken cross th-" "no." he's really helpfuland kind, and he loves kids. he plays babysitter all of the time. he's very extroverted and social, and he mixes in well with others. he's almost and apollo kid; a sunny, bright boy/man who seems to be a baby stuck in a seventeen year olds body.
Flaws:
+ fear of deep water. it's not like he can't swim, but he just doesn't go under the water. and if something touches his feet... he's outta there.
+ he has a scarred right shoulder, which makes him self concious when people touch him around there.
+ fear of the underground. he hates to go into tunnels or anyplace too dark, really.
+ can talk to eagles.
+ can communicate with storm spirits to a small extent. anything longer than two sentences he won't be able to bring across to them, and vice versa.
+ can detect storms from 50 miles away.
+ immune to lightning strikes and electricity; it actually makes him stronger by 2.5 percent every time electricity comes in contact with him.
+ can tell weather temperature in an instant.
+ he can walk into any storm without the slightest damage.
+ if it rains, he stays dry at will.
+ he can give people static shocks by touching them.
Powers (must relate to god parent; optional): as a son of jupiter, obviously horace is very powerful. he has a wide range of powers.
-aerokinesis-
+horace can generate and control powerful gusts and blasts of winds. these travel at a speed of 25 to 65kmph and have a varied strength. (maximum strength will be able to knock over a lorry and possibly a tree, the weakest will knock over a beach chair or picnic tables.) if they hit a human, it might do them enough damage to break something, but it depends where they fall. if the fall on concrete, it will be much worse that on grass...etc. these gusts of wind only last one post, and he needs to wait three posts before summoning another one. he can make three strong ones per day (only one can go up to the maximum) and seven middle-strong to weaker gusts.
+ i can fly jack, i can flyyyyy (sorry. just had to do that.) horace can fly. he can control air currents to make a support beneath him. he can fly at a speed of up to 75kmph, for a maximum of three posts. after that the air currents let him drop. he can also fly for up to six posts if the speed is beneath 20kmph. he can fly five times a day, with 10 posts inbetween each flight.
-atmokinesis-
+horace can create and manipulate storms of any kind. whether it be snow or sea, he'll do it. he can make storms stronger by 25 percent (this enhanced strength lasts for around three posts) or he can make them weaker by 50 percent (this lasts for four posts.). he can create snowstorms, tornados/hurricanes, hail storms, snow storms...etc. he can create three storms per day, one going up to a maximum of level four of storms. the others are a level two. these storms last for seven posts. he needs to wait twenty posts before he can make one again. he can also change the direction of storms.
+horace can manipulate temperature. he can raise or drop it by up to fifteen degrees. the change lasts for two posts. horace can do this as many times as he wants, but he has to wait eight posts between each use.
+horace can manipulate clouds. he can make them fill up with water and make it rain (normal, light to middle-strong rain) or make them part or even dissolve. he can manipulate up to twenty-five clouds per day, with five posts between each use. he can even shrink clouds and make them hover above someones head for comedy. and yes, he can make them rain. this little 'curse' of sorts lasts for two posts. light rain occurs at horace's will.
-electrokinesis-
+horace can conduct electricity through weapons or other objects. he does this by commanding a bolt of lightning to shoot through him, then zapping it out again by whatever he is holding. this is quite a strong blast, which can at maximum knock you out for up to ten seconds. he can do this eight times a day, with five posts wait inbetween each use.
+horace can also conduct electricity to fire up his adrenaline and, like said in the abilities, make him up to 5 percent stronger, depending on the strength of the blast. he can only do this once a day, and the adrenaline last usually up to four posts.
+horace can control electrical objects to a small extent. he can turn TVs, phones, laptops...etc on and off at will, as well as write small messages. these can't be any longer than around two sentences. he can manipulate twelve electrical objects per day, with a three post wait between uses.
+horace can, as mentioned above, summon bolts of lightning at will. these can kill potentially at a 10 to 90 ratio, so if you're in those 10 out of 100 odds, you might have to be careful around horace. monsters disentegrate instantly, but only the one targeted will. bigger monsters will only pass out for around 10-30 seconds. even bigger ones might only be startled. he can create fifteen bolts per day, with a cooldown of six posts between bolts. the strongest bolt (which he can only summon twice out of the fifteen times) might knock out (or kill, as said earlier, but this won't happen in any of my rp's, it's just for the sake of saying it .p.) someone for up to 45 seconds.
Life Before Camp*: born in new rome, the little tyke lived there for all of his life so far. he lived with his step father marcus and his mother ciencia in a small apartment close to camp. his step-father, a son of bellona, taught him how to fight a little over the years. he taught him some basic self-defense and martial arts kicks. at the age of thirteen, horace was picked up by lupa to be trained after training for weeks he returned to cj and joined the legion, being put into the (insert cohort number here) cohort. he fought for his legion, and grew up to be a strong soldier. he took part in the battle against gaia, and trained hard to his maximum extent. and soon enough, he and a few of his friends went along to camp half blood for a week to get to know others there. people admired him as the son of zeus, but since horace was used to all the gawky guys and gals, he didn't mind.
RP Example*: horace smiled as he rushed into the mess hall, aurae already brushing past him and giving him quick smiles. he sat down at one of the middle tables, and instantly there were people at his side, smiling and grinning at him. horace sighed, and smiled back. "hey, dean, can you pass me the ketchup?" the bottle flew towards him almost immeadieatly, and horace caught it in his left hand, the other working away to try and stack up his cheeseburger. "thanks, mate!" he mumbled between bites. ahhhh, this was the life.
Any notes about your characters: fc is colton haynes, FOR NOW. so if you're using him already, you can chill; i'm probs not keeping him for all too long. c:
