Training is Important

"Listen." He said with a hurt look on his face. " If something is wrong you gotta tell. I'm all ears and always ready to listen." Blake was trying his near darndest to her up. It hurt him know that something was wrong with her that caused her to act like this. He let go of the shield and simply looked at her trying to look into her stormy grey eyes to find any flicker of emotion.

Quetzalcoa Ortiz closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "I'm fine. My pride is a little hurt, that's all." She stated before gently taking her shield and heading toward her cabin. This was was so embrassing! How was she suppose to show Blake that she was a good fighter if she couldn't win??

"Oh Ok..." Blake stuttered. "See you later I guess." Blake watched her go and decided that she may need some a lone time.
"Maybe I should have lost on purpose..." Blake muttered as a single tear fell down his cheek.
He hated this feeling. The feeling that he made someone feel bad.
That he made someone feel ashamed for reasons not their own. He even feel like he let his parents down. After all he promised to make everyone feel good about themselves no matter what before leaving. He hung his head and started to walk towards the Khione cabin.

She sighed and touched her forehead. "Blake, wait...I'm sorry. I just...I just never lost a fight before...well not to anyone who was a child of war." Quetzalcoa turned to face him, looking into those eyes. "Please forgive me?"

Blake picked up his head and looked directly into her eyes and slowly began to smile again."Of course I forgive you." He said with a full smile. " I wasn't upset with you at all anyway. I... just hate making people feel bad is all..."

"It wasn't you, it was me. I just thought I improved, but I guess I haven't." She exhaled sharply, scratching the back of her neck. "Especially to a guy with piercing blue eyes." She mumbled underneath her voice, but loud enough for him to hear.

"Not improved? Thats a load of hooey!" He said "Your a great fighter. If I hadn't been able to tire you out at the beginning I would have been done for."

"Huh. You like my eyes?" He said with with a semi-confused look. He barely caught what she said ,but he heard piercing blue eyes. Blake just looked at her with an inquisitive look.

With that statement, Quetzalcoa stayed silent, not wanting to comment on how she was born for war strategy and he...well wasn't. She started to turn and leave again until she paused, "Nothing okay? I said nothing." What was she doing? She never acted like this around anyone especially not around boys. "I-I'll see you later, Blake." She looked over her shoulder for a moment before she continued walking, a piece of paper sticking out of her pocket fell on the ground. The paper read something about how Blake was the first person in a long time that made her feel something.

"Alright see you."He smiled back. Blake noticed a slip of paper had fallen out of Quetzalcoa's pocket."Quetzalcoa I think you dropped something." He said while picking up the paper only catching a glimpse of his name and something about making me feel something before he handed it to her.

"Your welcome." He said with a smile. "You should really get some rest. You look exhausted. I don't want you to get sick or anything" Blake said when he noticed that her cheeks got a little red.

"I will." She said more calm before moving some strands of hair out of her face. "I need to recover from this loss." The daughter of Athena walked out of the arena and toward her cabin, not knowing if she would see him again or not. Hopefully she will sense she did like him.

Shes a nice girl Blake thought. Maybe i'll see her after she recuperates from the fight. She looked a little sick when her face turned red. Maybe she caught a could from the ice? Possible, but for now Blake turned and headed towards the Khione cabin.
