Sasha's bunk

Sasha Daisy Huang flopped down on her bunk with a pair of fluffy plush headphones. The day had been exhausting, filled with gladiators and acid guns, and she was just now going to bed after getting patched up in the infirmary.
Aaah. Rome, sweet Rome. How nice it was to serve the one and only City!

A bee started crawling on the back of her hand, soon joined by another one. "Hey babies," she whispered, and put her headphones on, soon dozing off in her sweaty war games clothes.

Sasha fell down on her bed backwards, staring at the bunk above hers. Headphones in, world out. Time melted away. An hour later she was still there, listening to Pretty Girl by Hayley Kiyoko and thinking of Evie. Her blonde hair, her laugh. The way she worked that sword. Even now the glimmer of her armour filled her eyes. I can see you're real smart, Hayley's voice sang in her ears. World class piece of art. As if on cue. Sasha lost herself in the ethereal melody, totally oblivious to her Cohort mates' chatter as everyone got ready for bed.
