Gender: Male
Mortal Parent: His father, Dagur Einarsson, was a hardworking father who cared very much for his son. But as Dagur was a single father, he had to spend most of his time working in order to provide for Fridgeir, which led to Fridgeir believing he did not care.
God Parent: Hecate, the goddess of magic, night, and ghosts. These three domains are what lead to Fridgeir powers and abilities, as well as a bit of his personality.
Date of Birth: December 1st, 2002
Place of Birth: Fridgeir was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, the capital of Iceland.
Hometown/Last Residence: Fridgeir and his father last lived in New York City, that being the place they settled down after moving to America for a chance at a better life.
Race/ethnicity: Fridgeir is almost purely Icelandic. Aside from being half god, his mortal side is 75% Icelandic and 25% Danish.
Accent: Due to spending half his life in Iceland and the other half in America, he has a decent Icelandic accent, which is shown more when he uses Icelandic phrases.
Skin Tone: He is has a decent tan on his body, not too much but enough where he isn’t pale.
Eye Color: He has a very vibrant shade of blue in his eyes.
Hair Color: His hair is in between a dark blonde and a light brown, depending on things such as lighting for people to see one or the other.
Hair Length: His hair is sort of long, bangs reaching where his eyebrows are and the rest being a bit shorter.
Height: He is 6’1” but due to having a slouch, he is usually closer to 5’11½”
Weight: He is about 160 on average, depending on him working out for that week, how much he ate, etc.
Body Type: He is decently toned, with a bit of muscle and not too much body fat
Appearance: He looks rather normal compared to Icelandic people. Light hair, light eyes, light complexion to the skin. He a large scar along his arm from a car accident when he was 6 as well. He wears a pair of glasses and is usually seen wearing a black beanie to match his black shorts and glasses. His shirts usually depict a rock band of some form.
Weapon: Fridgeir uses a stygian iron spear he has come to call Myrkur, the Icelandic word for dark, as it reflects the color of the metal. The spear is special as it is the only way he can reliably use his powers, acting as a focus.
Armor: Unless absolutely needed, Fridgeir will not wear any armor. But if he must, he will wear a lightweight stygian iron set made to provide some protection but also allow the user to move somewhat freely.

Skills/Talents: Skills he has are he is able to cook, having been the one to cook dinner for many years when his father is out working, he can play the guitar decently well, having picked it up soon after moving to America, and he is good at playing video games, doing that in his free time.
Flaws: Fridgeir gets jealous very easily when someone is better than him at something. This leads into his second flaw, that being he is very competitive. These two combined lead to a third, which is him doing whatever he can to be better than others, which can be both a good and bad thing. He isn’t afraid to hurt someone else to prove he is the best at something, unless he knows for a fact he can’t be the best at that certain thing. And another flaw he has is a case of anxiety. He fears not being good enough for others and, while he is very competitive, each time he does something his fear of failing can hold him back and result in that very same thing he fears. And his physical flaw is that he has a rather big nose compared to other people. It isn't massive, but its a bit larger than average.
Strengths: Strengths he has include him being good at math, having just finished Algebra 2 with a B, but that was due to him procrastinating homework, as he could have gotten an A. He is also pretty good at cooking, after five years of practice due to being home alone most days. His final major strength is that he is pretty good at reading emotions. For example someone could be having a bad day but hiding it behind happiness as to not draw attention, but Fridgeir can tell they are hiding it because he has done the same thing for most of his life.
Weaknesses: While Fridgeir is very good at math, English is something he isn't very good at. This is mostly due to having spoken the Icelandic language for the majority of his life and still trying to learn English. He will occasionally replace words in sentences with his native language or he might mess up on grammar when speaking. Another weakness he has is he tends to hide his own emotions from others. Granted, he doesn't usually have anything to hide but when he is feeling sad or angry, or sometimes even jealous, he will hide it from even his closest friends, letting it build up until he eventually takes it out on others, even if he doesn't mean to. His final major weakness is he tends to focus to much on details, rather than the bigger picture. Another flaw he has trouble doing many things with his left arm. Since the car crash in his youth, he has been unable to do many things with it. It functions alright for everyday stuff that he has grown used to, such as gaming. But if you suddenly make him use a sword in it he will barely be able to swing hard or fast enough to do much, even if he manages to hit his target.
Likes: Fridgeir enjoys video games and being able to play them. He also enjoys eating whenever possible and finally he likes being in good relationships with others, whether they are just friendships or more than that.
Dislikes: He dislikes liars, any type of bugs, and ignorant people.
Fears: Fridgeir has a fear of heights, he has claustrophobia, and a fear of crowds.

This can range from just changing the shape of shadows to creating things out of them, but depending on what he does changes how it affects his body. For example, changing the shape of a shadow to appear different may just make him nauseous for a minute but creating a entire shadow body could make him pass out. An in between would be creating a protective layer of shadow, which would make him need to sit for a few minutes to rest. His spear, as mentioned before, acts as a focus. Without it each ability has a chance to fail or do something different than what he wants. For example, him attempting to change the shape of his own shadow to appear as a dog's, with his spear, would work fine. But without it the shadow may either stay the same or appear as a cat or something way different. And even with the failed attempt, he still gets the normal affects from manipulation. Depending on the action this can be used up to 5 times in a topic with a 5 post rest time. He can control the shadows for up to three posts. His second ability is basic shadow travel, being able to go up to 10km but only being able to be used once per topic.
Social Status: Fridgeir is not very popular but he isn't a loner either.

Fridgeir began school in Iceland where he learned the language and the basic things one would normally learn in school. He quickly discovered he was pretty good at math and learned as much of it as he could. When he turned six, him and his father got into a major car accident. Fridgeir had a severely broken arm that was crippled since. Aside from that, his childhood was pretty normal. At the age of 10, him and his father moved to America to try for a better life. They moved to New York City in a small apartment, Derek soon being enrolled in school as a foreign exchange student, who soon learned the English language, recognizing bits and pieces from tourists to Iceland. He was picked on in school for being foreign and different, but didn’t pay much attention to it much. His father was always working, so Fridgeir spent most time home alone, cooking for himself and playing video games to pass the time. At the age of 13 he was encountered in the streets on his way to school by a group of two thugs. One of them grabbed him by the shirt and dragged him into an alley before starting to hit and kick him, causing him to come close to death. Before he lost conscious, one of his neighbors killed both of the thugs and took Fridgeir. Fridgeir woke up in the infirmary at camp, his wounds still being treated and him being in a lot of pain. His neighbor had been a satyr and the thugs, Fridgeir was told, were two cyclops who had detected his scent. After being told who he was and why he was there, Fridgeir was soon claimed by his mother. After a year of training, he had found out the spear was a weapon he enjoyed using, and after given a stygian iron one, he discovered he actually did have powers, the spear being what allowed him to access them.
Role-playing Example: The cold air of the night hit Fridgeir the minute he stepped out of his cabin. It was another night he was unable to sleep, due to nightmares once again. He had his spear strapped to his back, prepared in case he ran across any damage, and began his walk into the woods. He enjoyed these walks, being able to have some quiet and being able to think about whatever is going on. Tonight he was just thinking about how he missed his dad. He never really had much of a relationship with him, not since they moved here at least. He was always working and never spent time with Fridgeir. As Fridgeir was thinking, he tripped over a branch and said to no one but himself, “Should have been að taka eftir…”
