Talents: She has an admirable singing voice and can play many instruments. She dedicated herself to learning them so although she does learn instruments at a quicker than normal pace a lot of practice has gone into it too.

Personality: From the perspective of one who scarcely knows Josie (eg. a new camper) she seems a shy person but anyone who actually know (whether they be friend or foe) know that she is otherwise. Josie is, simply, a quiet person around new people, waiting to see if they are someone she would get along with or not. Josephine tends to have varying personalities between her friends and the people she doesn't like so much.
Around her friends Josie is rather compassionate and kind if they haven't angered her in some way. She's always up for a laugh or to be a shoulder to cry on. She cares deeply for her friends but is not at all afraid to point out what they're doing wrong or their flaw albeit trying to fix it for them. Although she likes to be alone at times she is extremely loyal to her friends and is more than happy to curse someone who's hurt them to speak in rhyming couplets
Around her foes, or just people she doesn't like so much, Josie can be rather cold. She avoids as much contact as possible with them and will give them the cold shoulder in most situations. When she had no choice but to interact with said people she'll give as short of answers as possible and will easily snap or talk in an annoyed matter.
Flaws: Josephine is rather short tempered and very easy to wind up in which she would act like she does to the people she doesn't like so much. On top of this, she can hold a grudge like nobody's business in some situations. She is usually a reactive person over a proactive thus she waits for a problem to actually happen before she tries to fix it.
Abilities (must relate to god parent; optional):
Josephine has a natural ability is music and archery both build up with practice
Powers (must relate to god parent; optional): As most children of Apollo can, Josephine can curse someone to speak only in rhyming couplets. Unlike some, possibly most, of her half siblings hers are very weak and will only work for a day or 2 at most (6 posts cool down)
Life Before Camp: Tanya never wanted a child. Although she was a midwife thus her job was to deliver babies she never really wanted a child of her own but she never thought she would meet him. A strapping man with yes as gorgeous and endearing as he, bad haikus and all. She fell in love and the pair were a couple for only a couple of months before the one thing Tanya neve really wanted happen. She became pregnant. Apollo stayed with her for the first four months of her pregnancy before revealing to her that he was a god and left her for good.
15 March, 2001 Tanya's first, and only, child graced the world with her presence. Initially Tanya was going to give her up for adoption but once she held her little girl in her arms she couldn't help but fall more in love with her than she ever had with Apollo. She never told Josephine of her original plan for her.
In her early days Josephine wouldn't describe her life as anything but normal. She grew up in the outskirts of London with her mother and her young aunt. Both were large influences in her childhood and her childish open-mindedness made it more than easy to just accept 'you don't have a dad' as an answer. Life seemed rather...well... plain. Boring even. She had a group of friends, average grades and a routine cycle.
When Josephine was 11 her mother met a new man. A man who was not a flaky Olympic god. She fell in love again and the pair married only a couple of months before Josie's fourteenth birthday. Josephine easily accepted her stepfather and her treated her like his own, having no children himself. The two got on well despite Josephine's growing craving to find out who her true father was.
Not long before her 16th birthday Josie's stepfather received an 'out-of-the-blue' job offer for a higher up position in a postal service in New York City. Although the family were confused on how he got it was a good offer and the family quickly left London for America. It wasn't long after their arrival a demigod found Josephine and after an argument with her mother and a battle with a fury Josephine was whisked away to Camp Half-Blood
RP Example*: A long drawn out breath escaped Josephine's lips as she eyed her target, A black bullseye at the centre of the target. Her blue eyes remained fixated on the object from her crouch position behind the bush. Even from behind the wall of leaves she could smell the sweet scent of strawberries. The scent tickled her nose and made her stomach yearn for something to eat. She pushed the thought of food from the forefront of her mind and focused yet again on her target. She nocked one of the celestial gold-tipped arrows onto her bow and positioned it to fly through the bush and hit its target. She pulled the arrow back until the bow's string was taut then let the arrow go. She watched as it whizzed through the air before... bullseye. Josephine swiftly retrieved her arrow in triumphant silence. Time for a snack.
Any notes about your characters: Josephine has a form of Synaesthesia called Chromesthesia. Chromesthesia is a sound-to-colour synaesthesia meaning that every sound she hears brings a mental experience of colour automatically and involuntarily.
