Angry?

This. Is. So. Screwed. Up. Emma thought a word to a slice of the sword through the air. The anger rippling of the sword, creating an electric tension that was just waiting to burst. Emma’s athletic figure was framed by nike running shorts and a Boston Red Sox long sleeved top. Her irritation in her striking grey eyes, but even that was overrun by the confusing look she shot everyone in eyesight. She cut quite a prominent figure with her dirty blonde hair pulled back into a rough ponytail, toned muscles along her body, looks of hatred and malicious swings of her celestial bronze sword.

The girl had the looks of an Athena kid with her trained body, gray eyes and dirty blonde hair. But Victoria knew she was a child of Ares. No one in her cabin would dice a dummy up like that.
Her own siblings were currently occupied with planning the next war games, which meant she had no one to spar with. Well, no one decent anyway. So this one here seemed to be just what she needed.

She walked up to her, only in an orange shirt and camouflage pants. No armour, just a Greek helmet and her xiphos. "Fight me," she said.

Emma glanced at this girl, having not been at the camp long enough yet to know who's parent was who she couldn't make that immediate judgement. Emma had only picked up a sword for the first time, two days ago but already they felt like one. This would be her first real spar.

Balancing on the balls of her feet, she took up her fighting stance. It was well balanced for a new fighter, as her non dominant foot pointed towards "orange" girl. Swinging her sword round in a few more arcs before answering "it would be a pleasure."

Victoria unsheathed her sword with a clean metallic noise. The oiled bronze blade glowed in the sun as she strode forwards, glancing over her opponent from underneath her helmet. She was trying to determine her balance pattern, how she moved her body. The daughter of Athena trusted the other girl was aggressive enough to get the first hit in so she kept her sword down, unthreateningly. Almost inviting her to stab her.

Emma glanced up at the other girl, who was probably expecting her to move first. But Emma hadn't learnt the art of battle yet, so decided it was better to mirror her opponent. Still alert she stared right at her opponent as she reached down to click her knee.

Emma was wearing no armour, she preferred to feel free and un constrained. The same could be said for society as well, stupid stereotypes and no flipping freedom for those who deserve it. She was interesting in this way, always had to follow every single rule but didn't like the restraints set on her by being a woman.

BIC: Victoria's eyes followed the movement of her hand. The knee was a weakness. After several moments of waiting, she grew impatient. Wasn't this camper a child of Ares? What was she waiting for?
But that's okay. I'm patient, I can outlast you, she thought.

Emma glared at this new opponent, tiring from patience she got set in her position and started to circle carefully around. She honestly had no idea what she was going, but she saw this in a movie and it looked cool?! Coming in quickly she did a warning jab with her sword before drawing out quickly. Cool ice grey eyes carefully observed and considered her next move.

There we go. Victoria stepped out, the blade going past her throat. Normally when she fought with children of Ares she could just let them do the offense, step out, take their balance, go with their movements and bring them back against them. But this one seemed different. Victoria took a short run, kicked sand up at her face and swung her sword around towards her thigh, just above her knee.

Sand flying in Emma's face, she tried to duck away but to no avail. She just managed to see the blur of the blade coming towards her right thigh as she jerkily moved away and pushed her sword in the way. The sonorous clang of the metals connecting rang out across the arena as the sand cleared up around them.

As soon as Emma blocked the hit, Victoria pulled her sword back, changed hands, and swung it at her neck.
