by Ace of Spades 6/16/2010, 9:56 pmI give a content sigh and drop my backpack. I go put it under my bed and test out my new bed. I hear my stomach growling and laugh. "Guess it's time to eat." I tell myself. I stand up, brush off some dirt on my jeans, and head to the mess hall.

I drop off my book to read later and get my weapons. I leave for the practice field.

I walk in a little tired after a somewhat uneventful day. I go to my bead and read the Odyssey for a bit. I drowse off to dreamland in the middle of reading.

"Hi," I said to the girl while waking over to her bunk, "You're new. What's your name? I'm Tori," I said, talking fast and not letting her speak. "Want to do something?"

I wake up a little startled as someone approached me. "Oh, um, sure. I'm Sophia by the way."

"Hi Sophie!" I said rapidly, "You don't mind if I call you Sophie, right? 'Cause Sophia is just so formal and stuff, but whatever. Should we go to the arena?" I asked with my hands resting on the hilts of Huo and Shui.

"Uh, yea, that's fine. And sure, just let me change a bit." Still a little drowsy from my nap, I stretch out and go to the bathroom to change clothes and brush my teeth. I return and flash a friendly smile at her. I put on my earrings, ring, and bracelet. "Ready?"

After an intense sparring match with my half-sibling, Tori, I was a bit exhausted. I decided to go to sleep. I wonder what to do tomorrow... I start dreaming of my week's plans.

I wake up, fully refreshed and ready for a new day in CHB. I change to some shorts and a CHB shirt. I head to the bathroom.

I enter the cabin, still leaning on Yoshi for support. We get to my bunk and he gently sets me on it. "Thanks again." I smile at him.
I blush again when she smiles at me. "Don't, um, mention it." I start walking out of the cabin, then turn around. "Um, I'll come by tomorrow to check on you, kay?"
I smile again. "That'd be great."
I nod and turn around, hiding the small smile creeping up my face. I leave the cabin and go somewhere to get my mind off things.
I watch him leave and lie down on my bed. I start thinking about him for a bit, then I start reading the Odyssey I borrowed from the library. I soon go back to sleep after that.
I blush again when she smiles at me. "Don't, um, mention it." I start walking out of the cabin, then turn around. "Um, I'll come by tomorrow to check on you, kay?"
I smile again. "That'd be great."

I'm reading a book when I hear a knock. "Come in."
I knock on the door to check on Sophia. I enter when she gives me permission. "Morning, you feel any better?"
I smile. "Yea, I think I'll be able to go outside later today. Oh, and thanks for, um, stopping by... I realy, uh, appreciate it."
I blush. "It was nothing really. I'm just worried and want to know you're okay. So, uh, do you want me to get you anything from the mess hall? 'Cause I'm heading there right now."
I think for a minute. "Anything's fine. I'm not really picky."
"Kay, I'll be right back. I head out the door.
"Bye." I watch him leave. Then, I return to my book, but I can't seem to focus on it so I just give up. I sigh and think about the mysterious kid in dark clothes.

I come back in with the trays of food. "Back."
I see him enter again with all the food. "Wow, I don't think I'll be able to eat all of this."
I set the food on the bedside table and grab a chair. "Sorry, I didn't want to get too little."
"Oh no it's fine. Thanks for bringing the food all the way back. O sit across the small table from him on my bed, pretzel style.
I nod and smile.
We silently eat and make small talk.
After finishing breakfast, I put the trays on top of one another. "So maybe I'll, uh, see you around today?"
I smile. "Sure."
I smile back as I leave to go back to the mess hall with the trays and utensils. "See you then, bye."
I watch him leave again. "Bye..."

After resting a bit, I feel a lot better. I stand up and stretch. I change into short shorts and a lght hoodie. I head out to get something to eat.

I walk her to her bed and sit on the edge.
I sit next to him and smile. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
I look at her and smile back. "Yea." I kiss her and stand up. I walk to the door. "Bye." I leave.

I wake up with dry tears in my face. There was no use trying to stay in CHB anymore. I ruined everything. I felt like just ending it. I leave my cabin for the climbing wall.
