by Ace of Spades 6/19/2010, 1:27 pmHmm... So this is Camp Half Blood? I enter the cabin carrying my backpack and Talon, my young, giant harpy eagle, swooping low into the cabin. The roof is higher than the other cabins, probablyto accomodate minor air demigods' avian pets like mine. Talon rests on a protruding branch above my bunk that is against the wall. I look around, getting used to my new surroundings. I blow in a cool, northern wind into the cabin. Ah, much better. I think I'm going to like it here. I put my stuff beside the table next to my bunk, change into a hoodie and comfortable jeans, wear my twin scimitar necklace and bow-belt, and head out to grab a bite.

I come in, change into my board shorts, and take off my hoodie. I walk out, back to the lake.

I come in and go to my bunk. Talon made a nest on the branches above my bunk and was resting quietly in it. So that's what he's been doing... I change into some pajama pants and no shirt and go to sleep.

I wake up and stretch out. I change into shorts and a Warped Tour '08 shirt. I keep my scimitar necklace and bow belt on. I leave my cabin, wondering what to do today.

I enter and decide to take Talon out for some fresh air. "Come here, girl! Time to get out and get some grub." She swoops downwards through the door and ascends high into the sky above the cabin courtyard. I follow suit.

I walk in with Jane and lead her to my bed. I notice Talon back at her nest close to the ceiling looking at us. I give her a stern look and she turns away.
