"hows it your fault?" i ask, "you werent even there, I'm the one who could've saved him but he kept pushing me away!" i start crying, "I could've stopped him, if I had known his plan, all I knew was that he and Geo went out into the woods to find a few monsters to fight. they were training, but they actadentlly ran into a monster that they couldnt beat, and danny was hurt, Geo had to carry him to the infirmary then came and got me. by that time danny had decided not to let me help him" i yell out the srory between sobs, i sank to my knees on the floor.

i grin alittle, "I'm not mad, I kinda figured you liked him. I saw the way tou treated him, it was like I did before we had started dating." i think a minuite, and climb out of ger bunk, I run over to mine and grab his box from underneath, i run back over to melindas and climb up, i hold it up so she could see. i smile broadly.

"its dannys, all of his stuff. Like a month after he died, his half brother Dultin anf his little half sister Leena found it under his bed." i explained as I opened it. "Its got some pretty cool stuff in it, like pictures from home, and his knife and his cigarttes.....i think he was trying to quit though." i hand her the picture of me and him from just a month before we had left, "your not in it, cause you the one taking it." i hand her another of all three of us from when we were in like elementry school.

i laugh, "yeah i remember, when one of you ran out and couldnt get more, you two would beg each other for some." i smile, i pick up another picture and laugh, "hey remember that gang fight we were all in? it happened like a day before i ran away?" i ask.

"no you didnt!" i protest, "i do it was danny who saved both of us when the other side brought in bavk up." i say. I hold up the picture of me, her, and danny. Our faces were all bloody and we looked like crap, danny looked like he got the worst. "i remember we won that night and we celerbrated with pizza and when the waiter saw us walk in all bloody like that he almost called the police."

"i think we all had moments that night when we saved each other." i say. i lool up at the ceiling, i knew i had to show her the letter danny left geo, jet, lan, nova, bluebell, isabelle, lou, maddie, stella, samara, dultin, davin, kevin, leena, clarisse, avery, me, and even drew. I wasnt sure though, so before i could make up my mind i picked the letter up and hid it in my sleeve before she could see it. "im gonna go, i'm really tired." i pick up the pictures and put them back into the box, before climbing down the ladder and walking over to my bunk, which was on the othr side of the bed.
