Kahlan kick open door and instantly see the kid. "Where is he?" Kahlan growled in deep voice. She looked around and saw that no one was there. She walked back to the courtyard to her horse.

I walked in and my eyes widened at the sight of the kitten on my bed, playing with string off of a sweatshirt of mine. I smiled and walked over to the little fluff-ball and I scratched its head fondly. It started to purr and I gently stroked its back as it continued playing with the string.
