Ryland's bunk

I walked into my new cabin, and noticed a small package on my bunk, I unwrapped the paper and saw a small charm bracelet, the only charms were a balance and a bow. Not from my mom, someone else. I put it on, and looked at it for awhile.

Hermes walked in, holding a small golden bird that would balance on its beak and if sung to, it'd come to life and repeat any song sung to it. He put it on Ryland's bunk and left.

I walked to my bunk and noticed a small bird balancing on it's beak laying on it, I put it in my pocket and walked out
