A Waterfall

Nix looked around, alarmed on the intruding voice. She hadn't noticed it before, and her hand quickly flitted to her charm bracelet, which was now an obvious disguise of her weapon. She really couldn't remember much about Noonian. It was hard to. There were too many painful memories for her, and she somehow always managed to get rid of them. "Noonian is one of your friends here or something?" She asked, still looking around. She liked going to the forest, but she was often paranoid if there are any monsters around. Her long coat reached to her knees, and it was very loose. Inside it had wool, so it kept her very warm. She had managed to find in a thrift shop. She didn't mind the stains on the green fabric, but it was easy to movie in. The wind blew even more harshly, and it greatly stung her eyes. They became even more watery, that she had to close them for a few seconds, but a tear escaped, and she had to wipe it away with her coat.

"You just met her?" She asked him, knitting her eyebrows upwards. "Man, I already feel bad for you," She told him, bluntly.

"Hey! There's nothing wrong with being out in the cold. I meant I felt bad for you that you had some girl here irritating you to no end. Jeez," She said.

"I don't like being cooped up inside," She interrupted him. "Anyways, I guess I was kind of upset and needed to take a walk," She said, shrugging.

[color=blue]"Upset about what? I mean, I don't mean to pry, I'm just worried, cause you know, I'm your friend and stuff," I said, sort of nervously. /color]

"I wouldn't call it being upset. Wrong choice of words. It just feels weird not being with Hanson anymore," She said, not being any secretive about her status. "Oh well. I shouldn't depend on others," She said, clenching and unclenching her fingers, to prevent them from being utterly numb.

"Wait. Have you talked to Hazel lately?" She asked him, embarrassed that she has forgotten her for the past few months.

"Er-I feel awfully guilty what I have done in the past, and I just want to apologize," Nix sweated, it was hard even to mention her name. She hated what this had done to her.

Nix brushes her blonde hair back, biting her lip. "Do you want to go eat with me at the mess hall?" She asked him rather awkwardly. The girl tilted her head, quite comically, her eyes studying Noonian, hoping he'd come. She rocked on her heels, waiting for Noonian to either say yes or no, as a bird cawed in the background.

Elise slowly walked into the forest.

Elise sighed and quickly hid the knife. "Here..."

I walked towards her voice and smiled when I saw her."Hey there,sweetie.I didn't find you in the infarmary and I was scared.Are you okay?Was it a nightmare?"
