She took the Apollo-boy to an empty building she had found, and tossed him carelessly on the floor. She took out a syringe and poured the snake poison she had collected into the syringe. She would wait till he woke up.

I hear a scream, and I turn around. The cabbie was a gorgon. I take out Reever, and try to crack open the passenger's window next to the gorgon. (and yes I did bring Reever just in case) the window cracks open, thousands of pieces of glass landing in the cab, and out of the taxi. I switch the lock of the cab, unlocking the cab's doors.

Nix felt tears glide down her cheeks. She scooped up the broken glass, not caring that it was cutting her. She then dropped it. "We're going to find him." Her voice was full of anger, but her last word was hollow.

I stare at Nix and Hazel. I felt horrible. I blamed myself the stupid gorgon got away with Hanson. I was such a coward!

I nod, mad. "Chili, why don't you go track Hanson down, then come back?" I suggested. "Okey-dokey," he squawked. He didn't seem mad, nor happy. "Just track him, thats all."He flew away. I turn to Nix, hugging her. "We'll find him. We need to wait until my parrot comes back, though." I sheath Reever. I knew I would need my sword.I put it back in my backpack.

Nix tucked her T-shirt in. She'll need her belt which was stuffed with a dagger and throwing knives. She also had her charm bracelet which was also a weapon. Her tears had stopped, but her eyes were bloodshot. "Noonian..I'm sorry that we can't have the trip that I wanted you to have so much," Her voice trembled.

The gorgon was naturally impatient. After all, it wasn't only halfbloods who were cursed with ADHD. So, while the Apollo-boy was still sleeping, she took the syringe and plunged it into the side of his head. He screamed, but the gorgon held down his limbs so he couldn't move. The poison was designed to twist his most prominent thought horribly.
Nix.
Hanson howled, it felt as if acid were rushing through his head. He only saw Nix, Nix trying to kill him, Nix trying to kill every and anything he cared about. Nix morphing into a horrifying monster. Nix would do anything to hurt him. Every single memory he had about her changed into the scariest thing he could think about it. Then the pain stopped and he was enveloped by dark.

I gripped my sword. "Oh gods this is all my bloody fault! If I wasn't such a bloody coward-" I yell angrily. I growl. "Time to get over yourself, you stupid bloody coward." I mutter to myself, talking about myself. I begin to run down the road.

"We shouldn't just stand here for monsters to smell us out. Should we go somewhere to think of what to do?" My anger showed in my voice. I really wanted to kill something right now .No, snap out of it. Killing isn't the proper thing to do, neither is it right. I didn't like this feeling. It made me feel bad, like ... Krystal. Noonian runs, and I chase after. "Wait!"

I ran faster. I think he meant he will not wait anymore, as in stop being a coward.but of course he wasn't being a coward, just thought he was. He was going to find Hanson. I catch up to him. "You can't defeat the gorgon without us."

Nix dragged the backpacks, dropping it at her friends feet. "Here. Looks like we're off to find him. Seems like we're gonna be sleeping in boxes," She tried to joke. She kept Hanson's and her own backpack to herself. "Looks like we'll be touring Manhattan..so we'll be needing a bus.."

I stop for a moment. "Yeah? Is that supposed to mean something to me? Am I just supposed to change my whole bloody attitude because I'm your 'best friend'? What happened to Drake, huh? Don't give me this crap because I know it's not true! I'm just a bloody third wheel! It's not like I'm important! It's not like I actually matter to anybody! I suddenly felt very, very guilty. What the bloody crap was wrong with me?! "I-I'm sorry. I'm just... I'm a screw up OK?!" I wanted nothing more than to step out into the road and get myself hit by a bus.
