Lixie knocked on the door. Her grey eyes were dark and hollow. She looked like she'd been wrapped in her own thoughts for so long that she was starved of her usual intellect. She had a backpack on her shoulder and she looked up at Dylan. "Hey," she said softly.

I look at Lixie, here she was apologizing to me, but I was the one who had been wrong. "Why are you sorry? You didn't do anything." I try to sound confident, but I was just to angry and sad. "I know it's my fault that you're leaving." I say, lifting her chin and staring into her eyes. "I should be the one sorry." I say.

Lixie looked behind him and saw the two girls. "Who are they?" she asked. Then she double-took. "And what do you mean I did nothing? It's my fault. "To tell you the truth, I have no idea who they are, it is my first time seeing them. As far as I know they were both shaking me awake with no reason." I say in a truthful tone. "I don't know why, but people seem to like waking me up, earlier today a boy was throwing strawberries at me, now these two were shaking me awake." I say and smile. unsure of what Lixie would say.
