"Hmm . . . there's a place I used to crash when I was on the run. You could go there. It's in Connecticut, but it's a short drive if you take the Three Fate's Taxi Service.' Tristan suggested.

Tristan finally let the grin out. "Yeah." he said a bit late. When he snapped out of it, he quickly packed a backpack of ambroisa and nectar. Then he left.

Tristan walked in and slumped onto his bed. He was about to sleep, when he remembered a bulge in his pocket. It was Kat's iPod. He took it out, slipped the earbuds into his ears, and selected 'shuffle' Out of the earbuds came a song Tristan actually recongized: The White Stripes's Seven Nation Army. He nodded his head slightly to the beat as he listened.

Tristan grinned back, but weakly. Kat's iPod glowed white in the dimness, painfully reminding him of how he felt about both Drew and Kat herself. He sat there awkwardly, not knowing what to say.
