Toph walked out to the lake, strutting her dirt-covered bare feet carelessly across the rocks. Through the rock, she could feel the vibrations of someone else walking to the lake, a girl, presumably. She made a crack in the earth appear right in front of the girl, trying to startle her.

Devan almost stepped into the crack that appeared in the ground. "AH!" She screamed, jumping back, looking around for whoever made the crack.

Toph laughed, seeing her trick worked. She stomped on the ground and the crack resealed. She turned her head to the sky, trying to seem innocent.
