by Looking around, I didn't see that many people on the beach. It was pretty nice out, though. A perfect day for swimming, if it were summer or at least the middle of spring. I made a small sand cone rise from the ground, wiggling my fingers and making it form into a sort of spiraling mini sand whirlpool at my feet.

I saw what she was doing and watched with interest,the wind started to swerve around me making my hair scatter in it.I stared at the sand with curiosity, now wondering who her god parent is.

I made the sand rise with one hand, making it shift until it looked sort of like a giant spike in the ground. Wondering if this would stand by itself, I lowered my hand and stopped using my power-- sadly, the sand fell back to the ground and made some get on my jeans. I sighed and wiped the sand off my jeans and shoes-- I'd need to work on my powers.

I looked up at the boy suddenly, remembering that he'd been there. Probably watching. Oh well... I didn't think that many people hated Demi-Titans in camp... Probably just that Stella chick. Never met her, probably never will. "Gaea."

I raised an eyebrow at the boy. The silent type. I wouldn't assume he was strong from the way he looked, though-- perhaps just a country boy. I made the sand rise up again, this time forming a little crude sand castle with it.

I twitched, and my castle fell apart. I sighed, kicking the mound of sand from the castle, and looked at the boy. "Yes. He's my twin brother. Why?"

I looked up, seeing a girl wandering around.... There was something a bit familiar about her, but I couldn't tell what. I flicked my fingers in the direction of my whirlpool, stopping it.

I looked up, giving the wandering girl a rather sour look. Who was she to laugh-- I just got here a month or so ago, having found out my mother was the Titaness Gaea and that I had a twin brother, who just barely trained me in time to throw me in with his little army group to go against our mother. She had plenty of time to learn-- I barely had any.

I smiled back a little dryly, and without looking at my hand made the sand raise back into something like a pillar, around my height. I looked at it funny for a moment, then sent it straight at the girl, to test her a bit.

I saw the girl making a pillar out of sand. This was going to be too easy. She was most likely going to use up most of her power on this one little item. I made the sand fall out of the pillar before it got to me, then started to cause a crack in the sand that kept getting wider and wider the closer it got to the other girl.

I snorted. How amateur.... Probably an Egyptian kid, though she didn't have that type of look. I stuck my hand out, and the sand cracks began to close up as they got closer to me.
