I ran, like I was running for my life... well... I was. I slipped on the gravel road and smashed my cheek on the rough path, I was lucky though, as I fell the large black dog soared over my head. He would have crashed into me if I hadn't fallen. I scrambled to my feet and continued to run for my life. The giant black dog charged me again, and I ran like a maniac toward the large pine tree at the top of the hill. The dog snapped and caught me in the ribs, and tossed me to the ground. The demon dog pounced on me and tried snapping at my face. With every bit of strength I had, I pushed against the dog's nose to keep it from chewing me to bits. I couldn't move, my arms were locked, my face was cut, and my side was ripped open. I was losing blood, the dog had bitten me worse than I had originally thought. I did the only thing I could think of... scream. "HELP!!" I screamed until my throat hurt, I sounded so young, so weak, but I was scared, I was in pain, and I was dying.

I run in and see the hellhound. I bring out my katana and charge it. I slash at it aiming to cut it in half.

The giant dog disintegrated before my eyes, and my arms instantly fell. I shivered, but layed still. I was numb but felt everything... and swiftly darkness filled my eyes as I began to black out.

My eyes shot open, 'don't fall asleep', I told myself. "Demigod? How did you know I--- AGH!" I clutched my side where the...bear-dog had bitten me. "That's what that thing called me before she sent that beast after me." I breathed through clenched teeth.

"Gods?" I scoffed, then again "demigods" would make sense, and he did seem sincere. I took the "ambrosia" from him and popped it in my mouth. It tasted like lemon squares... which was weird, it was one of my favorite things. I swallowed it and closed my eyes, the pain in my side was still there but as the seconds passed it became less severe... "What did you say that stuff was?"

I looked around blankly, my vision losing its fuzziness. "So, I've been looking for a place called.... um... Camp Half-Blood? If you've heard of it, would you mind pointing me in the right direction? "I haven't done this before! Don't judge me..." I stood, brushed off my jeans and was actually surprised to find I wasn't in pain anymore, the only thing that was left from the attack was dried blood on my face, hands and ribs, and a gaping hole in my tee shirt... darn I liked this tee. I turned and trudged up the hill to the pine tree.
