Jane entered the lake quietly, looking around. I wonder if people are here already, she thought. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise to her, mostly because most of the camp should have been awake by now. It was two in the afternoon, for crying out loud. She let her arms swing by her sides as she walked, finding a comfortable spot to sit. Maybe something exciting would happen. But she doubted such. Jane sat down near the lake and decided on just watching the surroundings of the area, a small smile plastered on her lips.

As I walked alone towards the lake I look around watching the waves. I thought of the things that had happened before, training at the arena, eating at the mess hall and battling an empousai that had tried to kill me.
"Why does this always happen to me," I say out loud. The words were already out of my mouth before I could stop them. A voice behind me interrupt my clouded thoughts. I spin around so fast, my guard was already up and my sword was unsheathed.

I was reading a book on the lake until a girl walked in. I really paid no attention, so I looked back into my book. Which was about music, and classic bands and musicians in the 21st century. I was reading this book since the first time I got here, which was around the morning.
Hearing the girl he said, "I don't know." And dropped his book looking at the girl with a confused look on his face. Looking at the girl's armor and sword, I wasn't scared a bit and said, "Don't worry I'm not gonna kill you. I'm Oliver."

I sheathed my sword and apologize to the boy.
" Sorry about that but you surprised me, I didn't think anyone was listening but anyway I'm Kim Clark," I said in a quiet voice.
I stared at the older boy for a moment then I tell him a bit about myself. I wait to see what he would think of me. I thought I would be too shy to say anything so he must think I was weird, I thought in my mind.

When I heard about her, it was like any average demigod personality. The girl didn't seem bad, since she almost threatened me with a sword. But I really didn't care. I was to befuddled, about my book. But I told her about my skills, archer and playing instruments. So she probably get to know me a bit better.

" I fought a empousai and nearly got shredded," I say.
I looked at Oliver and commented on if he had ever fought he would win. I thought he was one of the coolest people I had ever met today. I smile at him and asked if he wanted to do anything tonight. My first thought that came to mind was that he was very polite, kind and I think he had forgiven me of my mistake.
