I walk to the Tiber later that day with my hands full of wildflowers. I'd put on my best tee and even shined the rubber soles of my Chucks. My jacket is around me, unzipped, in case it gets colder later. I had slicked my hair back and spiked the end into a point so if I looked down, it would look like an arrowhead pointing towards the sky. I wait for Liz.
