There are a lot more tropical plants on sale today. the clerk looks at me and asks if i need anything. i grab a venus flytrap, an aloe, and two cactus. i ask how much it was total. She said it was twenty dollars. I took out my wallet and gave her twenty. She smiled and said have a good day as I left.

I walk in.
I follow. The clerk smiles at Jake but glares at me.
I look around. It's amazing, all the different types of plants here. There are some ordinary ones, but a lot of exotic ones, too. I grab a lilly pad in a box with water, then put it down. We would need a pond for that.
I watch as Jake sets the lilly pad down. "You'd need a pond for that." I say.
"Yes, I know!" I hiss. I glance at the clerk. She is now glaring at both of us. I just settle for a pot of daisies. I walked up, and paid 6.99 for the flowers. not bad. She told me to have a nice afternoon, and I nodded. I left.
I left as well, the clerk really glaring at me. I figured I'd never see her again, so I stuck my tongue at her. I left.
