"Maybe it symbolises that you helping me to control my power is what keeps me in check. This shield does something very similar. Maybe shes telling me that you are my shield, my defense when I need someone to help me through." I leaned toward Skylar, my stomach lurching from where I wasnt quite fully stable, and hugged her tighly, giving her a light peck on the cheek which stained her cheeck lightly black. I blushed black before saying,
