He felt he was getting closer, ever closer... it would not want to show itself to people that would surely get in his way, but if Dez created enough chaos... enough mayhem, it may show itself to him.
He kept on running, and shadow-traveled, until he came to a gas station. He ran inside to the nearby store, and grabbed a pack of cigarettes from a shelf, and legged it as the man behind the counter turned to him and started shouting something about "under-age". He legged it outside, used his pocket knife to slice through the petrol pump, then instantly turning so it all poured away in the opposite direction. Then, he was lighting a cigarette and chucking it towards the neat black pile of petrol, making a run for it as it started to inflame, and, when he was further away... explode.
He was immediately back to running...

OOC: Glad you're back, Alyssa. I won't be on the internet again until Friday, just so you all know. And hope you don't mind, but I'm going to do a little time lapse, just to speed things along.
Olivia gulped and tightened her helmet strap. Ringo kneaded his claws into her leg and purred in happiness. Suddenly Olivia realized how tired she was. Her eyelids started drooping, and before she knew it, she was asleep on Catos's shoulder.
Quite a Bit Later
Olivia opened her eyes to almost pitch darkness. She blinked a few times so her eyes would get adjusted to the dark. They were still on the highway "Where are we now?" she asked.
Olivia gulped and tightened her helmet strap. Ringo kneaded his claws into her leg and purred in happiness. Suddenly Olivia realized how tired she was. Her eyelids started drooping, and before she knew it, she was asleep on Catos's shoulder.

"Well I dont think were in Kansas anymore," I said, trying to keep a straight face.
I elbowed Shrike so hard he fell off the bike. He caught up easily though and re mounted. He muttered something about manners which I ignored and told Olivia,
"I think were approaching Maine now."

Once we had arrived at the McDonalds, I nabbed Olivias wallet and rushed to the counter, moving at Bolt speeds that shocked a few people. I jumped up and down at the counter and started ordering my food.
"Well what an impulsive little skylark," I said, reconsidering that seconds later, blushing,
"Wait! No! Im not flirting with him!"

Dez suddenly stopped running. He could feel it. Feel it in his skin, in his mind, in his soul. He could feel it in his very being.
"Hello Demon," he said, almost without fear, but shuddered when he heard a reply,
"Hello Dez."
It was then he suddenly realized where he was. He was back in the forest, the dark shrouding his vision, but he could see it clearly, leaning against a tree, in almost the same way as... as his father did...
But that wasn't important right now. What was important is that he had found him... or maybe it was it... he couldn't be sure.
"You've caused a bit of mayhem down in the town.""
"It wasn't difficult," was all Dez could manage.
"Hmm, a confident one it seems," the Demon said, almost hiding in the darkness. "Its almost as if you were planning to see me."
"I was."
"Oh really now? And why would that be?"
"I have a proposition."
It was then that he heard the blood-chilling sound of laughter come from the Demon, and he almost shuddered when he saw him standing up, and walking close, to reveal his full horrible features.
He was taller than most men, and more built up as well, but with a cruel face, with a sense of... exquisiteness. But what was most horrible of all was his eyes, for in them, there was the terrifying squirming of thousands upon thousands of little tiny snakes. The Demon poke to him again, but this time, very softly, and invitingly... it was almost polite.
"Please. Do tell."

I rushed back appearing behind the group, tapping their shoulders and showing them the trays stocked up on my arms and in my hands.
"Anyone want food?!"
"Oh shut up Liv!" I turned around at Shrikes tap,
"Oh thanks Shrike!" I took the food and walked over to a table and sat down, Shrike following me.
