"Yeah, I don't. I didn't find out you had powers until, like, when you came back." Miranda told him.

Sirius smiles at Miranda. He then twists his head to see if anyone else was around. There were a couple of other kids at their bunks, but no one was paying attention to them. The son of Aristaios quickly kisses Miranda on the lips then pulls back. He didn't want anyone starting stupid rumors about them, which is why he looked around first.
'Powerless or not, I still love you,' he tells her, his voice barely an audible whisper.

Miranda smiled at him. She knew him well enough to know that he was shy about exposing their relationship. Luckily the other kids were either sleeping or doing something else that took away a lot of attention from them. Miranda kissed him quickly on the cheek and looked around. No one was looking at them. She sighed in relief.
"I love you too." She whispered softly to him.

Sirius smiles down at Miranda. He felt happy just from hearing those words come from Miranda's mouth.
'Good, because if not I don't know what I would do,' he tells her, half joking half completely serious.

Miranda hugged him. As soon as she let him go, she laid back on her bed. "I'm tired, are you?" She asked him. "I'll get some sleep later."

'Yeah, I'm a bit tired. You can go to sleep, I'll sit here.' Sirius tells her, trying to be nice to her. He wasn't actually tired at all, but whatever. If it made Miranda happy, he would say it.

Miranda thought about it and went to sleep. She didn't get much sleep, as she was thinking about the tone in Sirius's voice that made him sound like he was lying. He didn't have to lie to make her happy. She didn't have to lie to make him happy. They both seem to try too hard to make each other happy. Couldn't they just have a normal relationship? They could be honest to each other.
Miranda soon woke up. She couldn't sleep while she was thinking about it. Maybe she was making a big deal out of nothing, but it didn't seem like nothing to her. She wanted their relationship to be perfect, but nothing was perfect. But maybe it could be honest, and they could tell the truth. "Sirius? Could I tell you something?" She asked him.
Miranda soon woke up. She couldn't sleep while she was thinking about it. Maybe she was making a big deal out of nothing, but it didn't seem like nothing to her. She wanted their relationship to be perfect, but nothing was perfect. But maybe it could be honest, and they could tell the truth. "Sirius? Could I tell you something?" She asked him.

For the short while Miranda was asleep, Sirius sat down at her desk and started to think. What if Miranda found out if he lied? She would most likely be pissed off. Maybe, what if he didn't lie to her? He would probably feel better himself, but how would it impact Miranda? Would she not like hearing the truth, or would she actually be happier? These thoughts plagued Sirius in Miranda's time of sleep.
By the time Miranda woke up, Sirius had made up his mind. He would start being more honest. It would make their relationship better. As Miranda awakened, he heard her ask him a question. What could she possibly want to ask her. 'No matter what, answer honestly,' he tells himself.

OOC: Holy crap. I just read my old posts. They're full of spelling errors... It hurts my eyes. TIME TO EDITTTTT.
"W-w-well..." Miranda stuttered. She couldn't just tell him. It would be awkward... And weird. For her, at least. She didn't know how Sirius would feel about her saying this. He would be offended. What if he wasn't lying? There were too many what-ifs. It could possibly destroy their relationship.

Miranda tried to not look at him to hide the embarrassment on her face. She could see that he was also not trying to look at her.
"You don't have to lie to make him happy, Sirius." She told him, walking up to him. "I forgive you, but let's both promise to tell the truth to each other."

'Yeah...' Sirius mumbles, looking down at the ground. Gods, he was a terrible friend to Miranda. It was bad enough to lie to his friend, but his girlfriend? Almost unforgivable.

Miranda nodded at the question. "Yeah, I would love to." She smiled and took his hand. She grabbed her bag from her bunk and led Sirius out of the cabin.
