Shawn's Bunk

I walked in the door and looked around. There were a few open bunks. I saw a bunk over in the corner of the room. It was far enough away from any major light fixture. It was illuminated only by a little lamp on the bedside table. I walked over to it and set my stuff down by the bottom bunk. I flopped down on the bed and before I knew it, I was asleep.

I walked in, carrying an copy of Mister Pip wrapped in poor gift paper. I saw an asleep newbie and poked his face with my long indicator finger. I was assuming the risk of being kicked off.

I woke up when I realized someone was poking me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Whadaya want?" I asked.

I extended him the book, opening the most friendly and large smile I could. "Welcome to Athena's Cabin. I'm Morella. No, I'm not the leader."

I took the book in my hand. I put it on the bedside table next to my drawings. "Thanks. The name's Shawn Shade." I said.

I stepped back, buring my hands on my pockets. "Nice name. Sounds... Exotic." Shade? As a last name?

"I know what you're thinking. But my last name came from a Japanese word for 'marksman'. I'm really good at archery." I replied.

"Cool, cool. Athena's children are usally better with close combat, but not my sister. She's condeers herself, don't know, the bow's diva." I was getting worried about Celine. She never adviced before loosing herself on a trip or getting hardly injured.

"Oh. Well I can make use from pretty much any weapon. I guess something I got from living in Detroit." I said. (Great move,) I thought, (Bringing up your past.)

I hesitated. "Detroiit? Cool.. Monster focus." I began looking for remarkable scars around his visible part of body. "I'm native from Toulouse." I murmured.

I noticed her eyes moving toward the scar on my arm. I held up my arm. "Was this what you were looking at?" I asked.

I gasped. "Nothing, I'm an observant person."

OOC: That's my boyfriend's apologize when he guesses the color of my panties.

"It's no prob. You wanna know how I got it, huh?" I said. OOC: Wow.

"No." I really didn't.

OOC: Not wow.

"Okay then. So what do we really do here?" I replied. OOC: I mean like that's kinda weird.

I shrugged. "Fight that damn monsters? Convive in a mini society? It's fun. Better than mortal's world."

OOC; Not in nowadays. Kidding, I don't date perverts. He only did it once.

"Okay. Well is there any place I can stock up on books?" I asked. "The only ones I have are the one you gave me and an astrophysics book I've read almost 19 times." I pointed at the dictionary like object on the bedside table.

I sighed and smiled weakily, proud but not surprised. "Here. We're the nerds, so we have a lot of librarys and such." I sat by his side, still exhausted.

I reached over to my bag and pulled out a pencil and a piece of paper. "Cool. So who's in charge here?" I asked. Just then my pencil broke. "Imaimashi!" I yelled. I dug around in my bag for a sharpener.

I hopped back with his japanese exclamation.

"Sorry. It means 'damn'. I'm fluent in various languages and when I get angry.... Japanese kinda just erupts out." I explained. I sharpened my pencil and continued my drawing.

"So yeah. Really though. Who's in charge?" I said. I finished my picture and held it up. It was my crow, Night, flying.

I walked over to my bottom bunk and fell asleep.

I noticed I was being ignored. He just went to sleep. I left the cabin.

I woke up. I picked up my ocarina. I decided to play it while walking around camp so I left the cabin.
