Kendra smiled, wishing she could've shown him. Would've been much easier. "Get the ball and stand about three feet away from that black line." She stood and limped forward, pointing to the line. "When you swing you're going to take two steps forward and then you'll lean just a bit forward when you let the ball go."

I glance at Kendra and the person she just started talking too. I take my shoes off and head outside. It would be a nice summer day in anywhere else but New York, where the humidity made it sweltering. The cars drove by in the night sky, and all the skyscrapers one could see where glowing with light. "I dislike large cities. They ruin natural beauty."
