Hermes fluttered into the cabin and pulled out some gloves and boots. Finding the material curious, he stuck the gloves to the wall and watched them stick. He grinned and left the gloves and boots at Nick's bunk.

I woke up and slowly got out of bed. I threw my clothes on and sat on the edge of the bed. I then looked down and saw... A pair of boots and gloves? I knew for sure that I had not put them there, so I curiously picked them up. Maybe this was my solstice gift. "These things had better do something so darned cool..." I mumbled while I put them on. I studied them closely... And nothing. I slapped my forehead, but something went wrong: I couldn't take my hand of my face! "Uh... What the heck is happening?" I said, just sitting there, looking dumb. "Uh... Help!" I shouted as I put my other hand on my arm to pull my hand off my face, but it wouldn't work... And now my other hand was stuck to my arm! "Gah!" I said, hopping down, only to find that I could not move my feet off the ground. Great. Right now, I was just LOVIN' my present...
