I nervously walk into the barracks, expecting a bunch of weird looks from kids. I was a newcomer, straight into the First Cohort. I made my way to the empty bunk that I was told to go to. I set down my belongings and took a seat on the bed. I glanced around the room, admiring all the warriors that sat in these barracks. I should be proud to be in the First Cohort, this was the cream of the crop, and I felt so lucky. I promised myself I wouldn't disappoint those around me. As much as I hated people, I hated looking stupid in front of them.
