I trudged in, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes, though it must've looked strange because I was in a full suit of armor. Just for Chiron. I stood at a attention for a few seconds, then rested, at ease. "Chiron," I said "I- need a quest... I can't stand it in this small camp. It is already overflowing with people! And, and you've seen my fighting abilities. Quests don't have to be issued by gods, do they? It could- it could just be a small one, if you like. Ask me anything about questing, or monsters, or anything; I'll answer it right off the bat!" I gasped for air. After saying that all so fast, I had to hunch down, looking... Well, the fact that I was 7 feet tall made sure that I STILL had to look down at Chiron, even hunched over. Then, I stood back up at attention, waiting for his decision...

Chiron sighed, looking at Aiken with a critical eye. The boy was too bold with his request -- the gods wouldn't like that with him. He sighed again and folded his arms across his chest, taking on a stern, pedantic expression. "You are too rash -- only gods can issue quests by the Oracle. Otherwise, you'd have what is known to mortals as an 'errand.' I cannot issue a quest off the bat, for the gods are extremely critical of people such as you -- those who'd rush away from camp in a hurry just because they think the camp is 'too crowded' or some excuse as that. The Oracle will tell me if you are needed for a quest, but otherwise, no, I will not grant you a quest."

"Aw, crud." I lumbered out of the room, hitting my head on the doorframe. "Ow!" Embarrassing. That's what that was. I headed for the cabin courtyard, a large red welt on my forehead. "But..." I said to Chiron. "If you DO need anything, ANYTHING at all... Tell me." I made a "Call me" sign next to my ear, though technically it should be "Iris-message" me. When I heard the door shut, I ran over to the cabin courtyard, my armor still on.

Chiron glanced at the clock, sighing softly. "I guess it can wait for a day or two. But as soon as you get back from Olympus, you three must leave on your quest. Bring your things with you on the trip."
