Life Before CHB*:Kat lived with her father in Southern California. She tended to get in trouble a lot at school with her big mouth. Every couple of months she seemed to be moving schools. Strange things were happening in school including the staff turning into monsters. Kat tried to tell her dad but he was always to caught up in his work. She thought about running away many times but she feared the attacks would get worse. One day, at school she was discovered by a satyr named Pinky who brought her safely to Camp Half-Blood.
RP Example*:I was on my way to class when suddenly Mr.Rice, the librarian, sprinted towards me. As he ran, he turned into something horrible. A monster I had never seen before. My arm instinctively went to the inside of my coat where i kept my Switchblade. My old nanny always used to tell me,"A pretty girl like you and me always needs protection" so I had my butler buy it for me. As soon as that evil librarian came within a couple feet of me, I dug my blame into the closest thing I could find. His neck. When he crumbled to dust i decided it might be a good idea to run, so I ran home.

Her dad neglected her, and her mom left after she was born apparently. At least, that's what her dad told her. Finally she just got tired of it all and ran away on her 13th birthday. She ended up in Camp Half Blood 2 years later, finding it by fate.
