I walked in with a blanket and looked up waiting for the fire works. I spread out my blanket and sat down trying not to focus on how embarrassingly alone I was.

Tom looked how a firework went up and then it blew up. He liked fireworks a lot. All that color, that sound and all that stuff were amazing. He had liked them since he was a kid, Exept when he was a really little kid because, when people are kids like very little they always thing one of them is just going to miss the sky and hit him. But Tom was proud of himself today. He was standing there, at a beach, looking at fireworks. No need of someone older to look after him. He felt proud because, he was showing everyone he wasn't a kid anymore! He was a completely grown up 13 guy. Yes, and he proved that watching the fireworks. When people grow up, they will always talk about that kid who watched the fireworks alone, like a old person. Even his drawings were starting to be from older people! No more happy faces everywhere, instead, something more appropriate for older people, like llamas. Giant llamas to be exact. Yes, giant llamas describe how mature he is.

Vlad found a few fountains and wheels. He set them up all along the beach, lightning them as he went and returning to the fireworks and setting up a few big rockets for Lyssa to light. "OK, Lyssa. Want to light the rockets? I got Catherine Wheels set up all along the beach and a few Fair Fortune Fountains."

Tom stood there, looking at everyone. Everyone was talking to someone else and he was alone. His magical stuffed living penguin who gives chocolate and candy came walking to him and store next to him. Tom sitted on the sand again, next to his penguin "You alone too right?" He asked to the penguin. He forgot it didn't talked and actually wait an answer from him. "Right, you don't talk..." He remembered a song about being alone and some other stuff too. He just couldn't remember the name of the song. His penguin tried to cheer him up givin him some chocolate. Tom ate it, but didn't felt any better. Maybe if he socialize more, could he get more friends? That idea was just so weird, he actually had never really tried. He draw again, this time a very different drawing. He tried to make a face (that actually turned out to look like a potatoe) and that face had a weird symbol in his front head. Tom erased it, not knowing exactly what to do or why he was here. Maybe he could met some people, or socialize. He stood up, looking for a human or maybe even an animal to talk to. He just wanted to have more friends, and maybe he could get some here, at the beach in this fireworks. He looked around. No one was alone, or at least no one that looked nice. And almost everyone was older people, and he really didn't talked to old people too much, they always say stuff he just didnt understood. He wanted someone around his age to talk to, or at least not someone who is a extremely boring adult. His penguin looked at him, and give him some more chocolate. Tom was officially prepared to socialize.
