Re: Laraine's bunk
"Sure," Laraine answered and point her thumb to her bunk. "You can come to my bunk, and I can serve you some snacks while we talk," Laraine smiled as she remembered that she still had cookies and milk inside her bunk.

Re: Laraine's bunk
The path to her bunk was not really long--it was only 10 steps, in fact. Laraine gestured Lindia to sit on a couch next to her bed while she was off to prepare something for her own collection of snacks. In a few minutes she returned with a plate of chocolate cookies and two glasses of milk. They might look childish, but oh well, they were her only dessert. She decided that she needed to buy some stocks. "Enjoy," she said, giving her the plate and the glass.

Lindia smiled and ate a cookie. "Thank you. Now, where ae you from anyway?@ Lindia asked politely. As long as her past was a secret, nothing bad would happen

"Indonesia," Laraine answered politely. "My grandmother and my grandfather came from Rome, but they migrated to my now home country. How about you? Where do you come from?"

Re: Laraine's bunk
Lindia hesitated to tell her then said. "I was born in Canada, raised in Detroit" she said. Her life was horrible in Detroit, the absolute worst

Re: Laraine's bunk
Laraine didn't recognize the sudden change in Lindia's tone and she kept on going, commenting about Detroit. "Detroit? I've been there! It's amazing!" She said cheerfully.

Re: Laraine's bunk
Laraine stopped in a shock and stared at Lindia. What was wrong with her? "Lindia? Are you okay?" she said slowly. "I'm just telling my opinion about a part of Detroit. I'm sorry."

"Oh, okay..." Laraine stared at her milk. She couldn't say anything, and she didn't anything more to say.

Re: Laraine's bunk
"Boyfriend?" Laraine stammered. She started to shiver. She just couldn't think of her parents' reaction back in Indonesia if she tell them that she has a boyfriend. "No, of course."

"You don't have any boyfriend, and you're dating. What in the world does it mean?" Laraine asked curiously. She had to admit that she didn't know much...but she was keen to know things better.

Re: Laraine's bunk
"Oh," Laraine's smile faded. "Okay," she said in a final tone, and started to change into another subject. The thing about....that...was a little bit sensitive topic for her. "So, how's life treating you?" she asked, regained her smile. "What do you think about this camp?"

Lindia Sheugged "life is ok....my life was never good, I was a cursed child" she paused and then continued. "Camp is nice, I mean if you had friends, it's lonely for me though"

Re: Laraine's bunk
"Uh," Laraine shrugged. "I do have some friends, but if you want, I can be yours too." Laraine managed a brave smile. She couldn't let her be lonely, especially when she had visited her bunk and had a somewhat....interesting talk.

Re: Laraine's bunk
---
Lindia nodded slowly, wondering how she had rubbed off on the girl. The girl most likely thought her a freak, but she didn't care really. Lindia was a Canadian freak who had been framed for murder, and was abused. But she didn't know Lindias history, nor did she want to.
"Do you happen to know Laure?" She asked, wondering if Laure was very popular as she had claimed.

Re: Laraine's bunk
“Laure?” Laraine looked at Lindia. “I know her, I’ve seen her sometimes, but that’s it.” Laraine looked at her now empty glass and frowned. Was it wise for her to admit it? Sure, she had seen Laure. She’s pretty, yes, but her eyes were scary, they were almost as terrifying as Lindia’s. But when she took a glance at Lindia again, she couldn’t help to smile. Beneath those scary appearances, she could imagine a normal girl. Suddenly, a chill went to her spine. She realized that she just learned a lesson. Again, she smiled.

Lindia nodded "laure is my gir....my closest friend, and I guess...well she's my girlfriend too" Lindia admitted, rubbing the scars on her wrist.
"Do you have any powers?" Lindia asked her, curious.

“Powers?” Laraine asked after she nodded at Lindia. “You’ve saw it just now. I can heal people.” She then put her glass on the nearest table and took a cookie. “And how about you? Do you have any powers? Are they cool?”

Re: Laraine's bunk
Laraine felt that her heart jumped for a second as Lindia made fire from her hands. It was truly terrifying…since she was a little big afraid of fire. But you’ve seen things worse than that, Laraine reminded herself. You’ve seen flaming hair. Calm down. Laraine sighed deeply and regained her smile. “Wonderful!” she exclaimed.
