"Hmm...meet at the check out stand in an hour?" Star asked having a feeling that Kendra could get lost in her own mind here.

An hour slid by with Kendra darting around the travel section, adding to a growing pile she would add to her library.

After another hour Star was staggering around,carrying varying types of books.She headed towards the notebook section.

Kendra spent the last hour and a half browsing the fiction and science fiction sections, adding more books to her growing pile. Then it was time to meet Star and she had a mountain of twenty or so book to carry, while still on crutches.

Star looked up at her. "Your quite tough." She said and walked to the check out stand staggering under the weight of her books.She payed and waited for Kendra.

Kendra handed over her last hundred and shrugged before shoving all of the books into a backpack that didn't look big enough to hold even two of the books she had. Magic rocked.

Star smiled and walked outside still carrying her books.Once she was out of the store she snapped her fingers and mumbled a few words making a purse appear.She placed her things in it and checked on Magic. "So where to now?"

Kendra worried on her lip and then registered her leg throbbing. "Uh, I need to sit down for a few."

I nod remembering that she was an Apollo kid. "After this we should go get something to eat. I'm starving." I say and make some grapes appear.

She raised her eyebrows and her eyes glinted with amusement before she leaned down and placed a hand on each side of her injured leg. She took a deep breath and let it back out before letting the energy go. Her palms glowed with a muted yellow light for several minutes until she leaned back again, pale-faced and shaky.

She nodded. "I'm fine. I haven't quite gotten used to healing yet." It was just a slight bluff, the real reason was that the wound was so much more serious than anyone could've imagined. But, considering the monster that gave it to her, wasn't surprising.
