Dez slowed down and took a little bit more time to reply, thinking about what words to put together.

"Heh, only fitting we're both winners," he said as he kissed her back. Maybe it was the fact that he had been "dead" for so long, but Dez felt alive. The most alive he had ever been. It was all thanks to her, the one he loved.
