I glided into the funeral pyre and took a glaring look around. Heh, some idiot igniting bamboo. I slithered behind silently and tapped his shoulder. "You should try dipping the bamboo in gasoline."

"I know. I've done that before, it's just I don't have any gasoline... I said, throwing some of those MASSIVE fireworks- more like bombs- that Sam had given me. "You... Might wanna step back. And take cover. And cover your ears." I said, doing exactly that. BOOOOOOOOOOOM! Even though my ears were covered, it almost deafened me. Even though I had taken cover, the force of the blast not only blew me back, but it also uprooted a tree! In other words: Awesome!

I left my ears uncovered and stood perfectly still: even as I was blown back. I stared at the flames until my hearing returned. "Hm. Amateur." I said to the boy. I stood up and offered a hand in greeting. "What is your name?"

I took off my sari, which immediately turned into a shield, and blocked myself from the blast. BOOOM!!!

I braced myself for the blast. BOOOM! The flames hit my shield, curling out. The force of the blast almost knocked me over, almost exposing me to the flames. Luckily, my shield had leather straps and guards on it, protecting me from the probably overheated shield.

"Ha ha, heck ya!" I said, still recovering, as that one had exploded WAY before I had expected it to, and I hadn't even been ready. I left.
OOC: I know WE ALREADY HAVE HOMEWORK. At my school, we're "serious about education", which apparently means we have to already know exactly what college we're going to, so we have TWO DAYS to research, design and create a massive pennant that tells everything (And I mean, EVERYTHING...) about your college. Of course, me being the world's biggest procrastinator and all, I randomly chose UCB (University of California, Berkley) and I JUST started doing the project, among all the other stuff from my other 7 classes! (Woohoo, right?) But I've just found out I should be grateful about living in Florida, as there is NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, due to the fact that hurricane/tropical storm Isaac might hit us...
