Kristen walked into the shop with her head down. She couldn't believe she had left camp -- that was dangerous. As she looked around, she hoped they were no monsters here. She didn't want to be on the run because of mortals thinking that she had comitted a crime, when really she had just killed a monster. Shaking off the thought, she ordered a mango juice and sat down at an empty table.

I run into the shop and look around. Gosh I didn't like my new life. Monsters, gods, centaurs ? Who made this crap. I decided to come here and relax for a little. I go up to the line and order some Mango juice. I find a table and sit down.

Kristen recognized the other girl after a few minutes. She hadn't really known her, but she'd seen her around. She walked over to the table. "Hi, I'm Kristen, daughter of Boreas," she said in a somewhat hoarse whisper. "I've seen you around camp."

I get back to drinking the mango sweetness and then look back up. "Not to be snoopy but why would you leave in the first place.

"Well Im asking because I wouldn't understand why someone would leave safe boundaries to enter the real world where monsters could attack you. I mean I want to be able to get out and stuff but I wouldn't leave the safe haven of gods.", I snap back.

I roll my eyes. "We all know that's not true.", I take a sip of my juice and look at Kristen expecting her to have some snazzy comeback.

Kristen pushed back her chair as she saw the dracanae enter the bathroom. Snapping her fingers so that the Mist would hide the true form of her spear, she sidled in, flattening herself against the wall.

I followed Kristen's moves and slide into the bathroom. I walk quietly on the tile floor trying not to make a sound and flatten myself against the side of the first stall.

Kristen watched the dracanae, who hadn't noticed her and Julitte yet. She wondered if dracanae ever got cold, but didn't risk using her power. Instead, she slid against the wall opposite to the monster, and waited for her chance to attack.

"Julitte~!" Kristen shouted. She speared the dracanae, who hissed in pain but didn't explode in dust. Pulling out her spear before the dracanae could get it, she tried to strike again but missed.

Kristen wished she had a power more useful, like freezing things; it sure would have been helpful. She stabbed the dracanae in the gut, but the dracanae hissed in laughed. "Die, little heroes, die~!" it cackled. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Kristen noticed a mortal approaching.
"Uh, Juliette~?" she called, "More trouble~!"
