Making Weapons

I smelt the shape of the blade.

I took a hammer and put my twin knives in the flame. I took them off after a while, and then put them on my anvil and hammered them. After that time, I had two knives along with my sword and shield. I realized I was sweating when I saw Jenn.

I attach the blade carefully and extend it to full length and begin to sharpen the blade.
I mak another then leave.

Aventus walks in and finds himself a forge. He grabs a couple ingots and uses a pair of tongs to put one into the flames. He heats the metal and pulls it out and hammers it on the anvil. With speed and precision, he hammers out the metal and folds it over. He plunges the metal back into the flames and works the bellows to make the fire hotter. He again removes the metal and hammers it out and repeatedly folds it over. Aventus goes through this process and fuses the metal with the other ingots to make a two-handed sword.
When the sword is shaped, he moves it to a grinding wheel to shape it's blade so it can shear through armor. With the blade shaped, Aventus sets up a bronze breastplate and swings the sword at it. The impact bends the armor around the sword when the blade connects and when he removes the sword, there is a cut through the armor. He grunts in satisfaction and leaves the armory.

He walks into the armory and grabs some materials to make a bow. He starts to forge the bow.

I limped into the armory and found some supplies. There were two thing I needed to make. I started by starting an extremely hot fire. Then, I put the two small lumps and one large lump of CB into the fire. While they were heating up, I started making two light-weight handles. After about 10 minutes I turned to the metal and took the smal lumps out. I took a hammer and started hammering them into blades. When I was satisfied, I plunged them into water, cooling the blades. Then, I engraved them with some runes and fixed the blades to the handles. I was now holding two razor-sharp hunting knives. I set them aside and turned to the large lump of metal. I started hammering it fiercly, elongating it into a large staff. I cooled it and wrapped several parts with leather and was holding a 7 foot long CB staff to help me walk. When I was astisfied, I took the weapons and walked out of the Armory and back to the forest.

Xavier entered the armory, carrying his bent sword he had borrowed a few months ago, and now needs a new one. He was handsome, tall, and pretty muscular with dark hair and eyes. He wondered if he would into anyone he knew...

Zoë was in there fixing her blade Wichita had been bent severely. She looked over her shoulder to see one of her friends, Xavier. She got a tingly feeling and smiled..She smiled and said hi. She was a idiot around him (lord knows why) and she had pit her hand on the burning stove for 15 seconds without relizing it.

Xavier smiled, responding with a hi before quickly grabbing her hand and dumping it in ice "you ok?" He asked quickly, worried about the injury. Forges could get incredibly hot a burn could kill.

It took Zoë a second to regester what happened and she screamed softly when her hand was in the ice...."I think my hand will be ok, I should just stay away from the forges she mumbled...So what's up?"

He carefully examined her hand, already seeing the burn. "M not really Doug anything besides fixing a weapon" he told her as he poked at her directly

"So do you wanna go to the lake for a boat ride?"

"Maybe in a little bit, I was going to the beach though"

"Well, do you wanna go surfing??" Zoë cursed to herself...she knew he liked the beach better and he probably wanted to go surfing rather than a romantic boat ride on the lake in the glistining moon...

"No, I'm absolutely rubbish at it, but perhaps a two person canoe? We can 'borrow' one from the lake and take it to the beach"

"Sure!!!" Those are hard to controlled though from the ocean current are you up for a challenge? "

"I'm always up for a challenge Zoe" he smirked

"Well challenge this, last one to the beach is a rotten egg!!!!"
