rex's walkabouts

two cougers go and lay on sam and rex like a demestic cat and three lay on kie 'aw so cute'he said snuggling with them

rex just pets the cougar lost in thought

I smile at the cougar."youR so cute!"

looks around pulled out of my thoughts "huh?"

I look at rex."i was talking to the cougar."

"oh. sorry i was just thinking."

I nod and kiss his cheek.

smiles and looks up at the sky which is turning orange because of the setting sun "that is the one thing in nature i have never been able to draw accurately."

I look up at what he was talking about." its beautiful."

"yes it is. see how the color shifts so smoothly. no artist can recreate that perfectly. its just not possible. but it is nice to see there is something in nature that humans cant tame."

I smile and hold his hand.

looks over at sam and blushes "sorry. art is something im really serious about so i can go overboard when talking about it."

I smile."i thought it was cool, how you explained it and stuff."

smiles "im glad you liked it." looks back at the sky "but it is true. no one can recreate the numerous colors that is shone there and even if we could we wouldnt be able to blend them."

'So rex are you going to stand up to these wild animals'he asked and laughed

looks at kie "if they decide to attack then yes. but considering they are being like common pets i dont think i have to worry about it."

I yawn again, this time really loud.

stands up "thats it. you need to get to bed."

"nooo." i whine and stay put.

"fine." he reaches into his bag and takes a big sleeping bag out and smiles

I look at him take the sleeping bag out and raise a eyebrow."whats that for?"

"so you can sleep duh." smiles

"im not tired." i close my eyes and put my hands behind my head.

he slides sam in the sleeping bag "good night." he kisses her forehead

I look at him."fine but, i get to cuddle with you." i smile at him.
