by Kunal walked in and plonked his stuff on an empty bunk that was pressed against the wall, near a window. "Well, I guess this is home", he announced.

Kunal nodded standing up, "Well think about it.", he rummaged in his backpack pulling out a fresh tshirt, "I need to change", he said absently.

"If you want to", Kunal shrugged, peeling off his tshirt. He had nothing to be concious about, all those years of swimming had given him a perfectly toned yet not too muscular body. His chest cut in a V shape beneath broad shoulders and his abs were subtle yet visible. Nevertheless he couldnt help but flush slightly as he kept his eyes strictly away from Kyla not wanting to know whether she was watching, he pulled on his new tshirt and turned back to her.

As he turns around, I had a smile on my face. Perfect under the top as well I thought to myself. "I didn't watch." I say, still smiling.

I put a really innocent look on my face, "The temptation was too great!" I say laughing, "But you definitely have nothing to be embarassed about."

Kunal's face flushed red, "Well thank you", he said and flashed her a smile. He moved to sit beside her again, fluffing up a pillow for her to lean on.

I smile, "Thank you kind sir." I say jokingly and rest on the pillow. "This isn't such a bad place to live actually. My cabin is better than I thought it would be."

"Is it?", Kunal asked conversationally, "Well I cant exactly say I had a normal lifestyle before camp so I cant judge fairly."

Kunal rolled his eyes, "Well my mother is a hi-flying socialite which is how I expect she attracted Mr.D's attention."m he paused before saying, "Which basically means when I wasnt partying at the Hilton, I was sipping wine at the four seasons or at an art exhibition in Paris or a movie premier in Italy.", He frowned slightly, "Its been good but though I had various houses and numerous contacts, in my whole life I had not a single home nor a single friend."

"Oh wow, that must have been a very luxurious life then, not quite what I had, but, at least you have a friend now." I say with a smile on my face.

Kunal smiled, "Yes I'm.glad. Honestly I'd rather have you than all of that.", he paused and added "What was your life like? you dont have to tell me.if you dont want.", he said.softly.

I smile when he says he'd rather have me, I felt special, but when it comes to asking about my life, the smile falters as I think about home, "I think I can tell you about home. Our home life was fairly normal. We lived out in the countryside of Ireland and my Dad owned a farm, so we helped out on that. It was only a small farm though. Sadly though, he also liked to drink and gamble. When he had had a bad night and lost money, he'd come home angry and..." I start to cry a little bit as I think about the next bit, but I force the tears back and continue, "And... he would hit me." I let more tears go, but then wipe them away for a bit longer, "Then, one day, my brother Darius tried to stop him hitting me, but he accidently..." I wasn't sure how to say the last bit... "Killed our dad."

Kunal was shocked, he nodded sadly and put his arm around Kyla, "Im so sorry", he said. Then trying to distract her, he asked, "Is your brother a demigod too?"

"Really?", Kunal smiled, "Well thats nice." He gave her a goofy smile and said, "I'm glad you dont have a twin sister, the camp couldnt handle that much prettyness." He laughed, "too cheesy i know"

I start to laugh, "That was a bit cheesy, but still thank you very much, you're very sweet." I finish by smiling happily at him. He really had cheered me up, and that's why I really liked him.

Kunal smiled back, "I'm glad it helped". He leaned away from her suddenly and sat at the other edge of the bed, "So", he said.

I look at him, "So... What should we do now? We could go to the lake? Or the beach? Or we could go to the arena's and you could lose to me, I mean fight me." I say grinning, "Where would you like to go?"

Kunal smiled, refusing to rise to the bait, "I think I'll defeat you, I mean fight you later", he said inclining his head, "but first I really need a bite to eat." He looked away slightly, "how about I come find you when I'm done?" he turned back and flashed a smile at her as he stood up and leaned over to kiss her cheek before leaving.
