After the conclusion of our first Lottery, we would like to hear some thoughts from you. Was there anything you liked/didn't like about it? Was one week too long/short? Was 100 drachmas per ticket reasonable? Would you like to see this event again next month? Do you have any other comments/complaints? Let us know what you thought about it.

Within the next couple days, we should be opening up a dance for Valentines day, so look out for that topic.

We may also hold a writing contest in the near future as well.

I don't have anything to say about the lottery...since I didn't join the last lottery...but I think it's pretty cool.
And I would like to hear the details about the writing contest, please.

Could we get some more info on this possible writing contest? FOr example, what sort of prompt we may or may not get? Also, are staff able to enter said contest?

if you knew the prompt you'd be able to prepare before hand. :V I like the mystery. However, requirement info would be cool, like if there's a minimum or maximum word count, limit to how many entries you can have, contest dates, etc.

I didn't ask for the prompt. I asked what type. Prompts can be anything, y'know. From a picture to a phrase.

-The prompt will most likely be a key phrase and a short list of words required.
-Of course staff can enter!
-Minimum: 100 words, Maximum: 3000 words

Also, you will have one week to write your short story and enter after the time it is posted.

Starting when we announce the prompt, and yes, you will be allowed to use fanfiction, as long as it's written precisely for this contest.

I wasn't keen on the lottery due to it not being a fun way to win drachmas

The writing contest idea is really cool! Are we going to have a winner? If yes, would you please tell me the requirements to win? Or are you going to give out prizes to the winner?

@Break... You get a chance to win drachmas.... how is that not fun? It's a lot easier and you get more from it as opposed to the descriptive character form.

Role playing is funner than waiting for gambling your drachamas

Break, the word funner doesn't exist. And as far as I know, it isn't gambling. It isn't like the national lottery.

I'd prefer the team roleplay competition.

The lottery is a gamble of sorts, but unlike the real lottery, all the drachmas do get awarded at the end of the week. The entry tickets are only 100 drachmas each, so if you don't win, it's not that big of a loss, but if you do win, yay drachmas! It's just a fun, simple way to get drachmas.

We will have a team roleplay competition in the future, so don't assume we've just ignored it completely. Larger competitions like that take a lot more planning than say a lottery or dance, so just be patient.

I'm really looking forward to that!! It's going to be really awesome. Thanks!
