Life Before CHB*: He lived with his Mom and stepdad all over the east coast, constantly running from Monsters. His father was in the Army, so they were constantly moving. One day, while his father was over seas, Blake and his mom got he letter that his stepdad died in action. Unable to provide for the both of them, Blake's mom told him about Hephaestus, his real father. She then sent him to camp halfblood so that he could be safe from monsters and feel normal for once in his life.
