"Wow, actual pegasi. I never would have thought they were real if this had never happened to me." I go up to one and brush my fingers through its mane. It reminded me of Charlotte, my horse back home. Except for the wings of course.

"No. I've been here over a year." I thought for a second. "In fact, just last week was the 'anniversary' of when I first got here. May 12th."

"Well as you can tell, I am awful about reading people," I said nervously, I scratched my head, "Basketball, I could read a player better than anyone in the nation. Regular people, I'm terrible."

"Oh," I said, disappointed. I definitely wasn't used to that. Then again, I needed to be open to new things. "No matter. I will make due." I get the pegasus out and hop on top. This would be fun.

I walk over to a different pegasus and start to stroke it's mane. It's wings rocket out hit me in the face. I felt my nose break, experienced that playing basketball, and fell down onto my back. I sat up pressing my shirt to my nose to stop the flow of blood, "I told you I am not good with pegasi."

OOC: I usually can only get on during the weekends, but next week is the last week of school, so I'll be going a lot more. :)
BIC: I turn back and see him on the ground. "Oh my goodness! Are you okay?" I go to help him up. "We need to get you to the infirmary!" I say quickly.

"I'm fine," I said setting my nose back into place with a pop, "Let's just get you a ride on the pegasus." I wiped the rest of the blood from my nose with my shirt.

I was disgusted by that entire thing with this nose, but I decided to not worry about it. "Okay," I said and got back on the pegasus. I was not wearing correct riding clothes. That was going to irritate me. This is not how you properly ride.

I saw the look of disgust of her face, "Sorry about that. Just don't want to leave it there and have it heal all messed up." I slowly walked over to the pegasus and held out my hand, "Let's try this again." I slowly sniffed my hand then turned back to whatever it was doing. I slowly walked closer and climbed on it's back. "Okay, you ready to ride?"

"Yes," I said. I had been riding horses since I was eight years old. This couldn't be too much different. It's still a four-legged animal that humans can ride. Just...with wings.

I led the way out of the stables. The pegasus whinnied rebelliously. "Oh, stay quiet you," I said stroking it's mane, "If you ever have ridden a horse, it is very similar. To turn try a slight lean, they should follow what you are doing."

"I know," I say nicely. "I've been riding horses since I was little. I even have a my own horse," I said, thinking about home and how badly I missed it. I was a bit more cautious riding, than usual because I still didn't trust that riding a pegasus would be quite the same as a normal horse.

"Layla," I said. "She's a Clydesdale." I go in a circle on the pegasus to get used to how it moves. "I got her when I was 10."

"I grew up in the city. Never got to ride a horse or pegasus until I got to camp. Failed terribly my first attempt. Sounds like you really like this horse. Did something happen to it?" I felt stupid asking this. I mentally face palmed myself.

I gave him a confused look. "No, she's still alive. She's just back in London," I said. I continued getting faster on the pegasus until I get at a slow gallop. I turned around and came back to him.

"Well, yeah. I left a lot of things," I said, adjusting myself on the pegasus. I didn't want to be mean, but his questions were sort of obvious. "But doesn't everyone?"

I thought about that for a second, "Yeah, some more than others. I mainly gave up some sports."
