“Sometimes it takes a good fall to really know where you stand”
      ― Hayley Williams

    The Basics
    Full Name: Willow Marie Sheridan
    Age: 16
    Birthday: June 17th,
    Gender: Female
    Sexuality: Heterosexual
God Parent: Apollo, Greek God of the sun, truth and prophecy.
Place of Birth: Portland, Oregon in the United States
Hometown/Last known residence: Beaverton, Oregon in the United States
    Race/Ethnicity: American
Accent: Willow has a standard American accent, nothing that stands out when she is talking to those who live in the U.S.

    Life Before Camp
The then Margaret 'Mockingbird' Sheridan met Willow's father and after some time dating they parted ways, but not soon afterwards she found out that she was pregnant with her one and only daughter. A whole 9 months later Willow was born and it was those two girls living in the city until Mockingbird met and married her husband Samuel when Willow was 3 years old and raised her as his own child. Though they tried to tell Willow that he was she knew all along Sam was not her real father, but she thinks of him as a father and would never think of him as anything less then that. The Sheridan-Monroe family lived in the bustling city of Portland, Oregon until Willow was 7; that was when they moved to a small outskirt city called Beaverton, Oregon to finally fulfill their lifelong dream of living off of the land.
Beaverton, Oregon is known most for its mix of city life and the well known outdoor beauty of Oregon. It was here that Mockingbird and Willow's stepfather Sam decided to move their 7 year old daughter deciding that the simple life was much more suited to their way of life. They started a garden and lived off the land as well as homeschooling Willow until the time that she left home. Willow was never one with a lot of friends as she spend most of her time with her parents and only attended public school until she was 7 years old. Willow tolerated Beaverton, really not caring much about the happenings of the city but knowing that she needed to put on a happy face for her mother who gave up the life she had to move there in hopes of giving Willow a better life. The only place she truly felt like she was welcome was the forested areas near her house as she lived on the outskirts of Beaverton nearest the woods. Willow spends the majority of her time wandering in the woods and can walk around on the trails or off of them for hours. Even after hours and hours she would stay there, not ever getting bored of the trees and the rocks and the open sky.
Noticing that Willow spent so much time in the woods and after a few successful archery lessons, her step-father Sam decided that in order to try and both keep an eye on her and bond with her he taught her how to shoot. Sam was an accomplished archer and had won many school wide competitions and he was pleased to see that Willow seemed to have an eye and pretty good aim. Starting when she was 10 years old, the young Willow started first with targets but soon moved on to shooting moving targets. Sam wanted to put Willow into competitions but Mockingbird never allowed it, and so she would never gain further training with a bow and arrow until she reached Camp Half Blood.
Willow had always had so many questions about her life, ones that her mother and step-father could never answer for her and felt like she was lost where she was and that she was being called somewhere else far away from Oregon. After dreaming of a mysterious place almost every night, Willow decided that she needed to follow her gut feeling and find out about the conflicting things she felt about herself and her life and asked if she could leave home to find this place. Her parents reluctantly agreed, and kept tabs on their daughter as she let her intuition lead her forwards. On her travels she crossed paths with a satyr who told her he could lead her to the place in her dreams and though reluctant at first she couldn't resist the urge to go with him. That was when he lead her to Camp Half Blood, and it was there that she was claimed by the god Apollo and learned of her true bloodline. After that point it seemed like an empty hole inside of her was finally filled and in a lot of ways she felt whole. Though she misses her parents she knows that the reward was well worth what she left behind.

    Life at Home
    Family:
Mortal Parent: Margaret 'Mockingbird' Sheridan-Monroe - Mother; massage therapist and yoga instructor in her mid 40's. Margaret lives more of a bohemian lifestyle and goes not by her birth name but by 'Mockingbird.' She met Willow's father, 'Paul' as she knew him, when she still lived in the city and dated him for about 6 months before they eventually parted ways. She found out only a short time after that she was pregnant but could not find 'Paul' to tell him, she had decided from there that she would have the baby and never speak of him to Willow. She got married to her husband Sam when Willow was 3 years old and though they tried to have more children she found out that she would never be able to have any more. She refers to Willow as her 'miracle child' for that reason. Mockingbird is free spirited and independent, and brings her spirit to everything she does in life. Willow is very much like her mother, their personality is extremely similar and Willow looks just like she did when she was younger. They both have the same wavy, dark brown hair and brown eyes as well as the same distinct dimples when they smile.

Pet(s): Her family has a male German Shepard that is named Ranger. He is a 13 year old dog that has been in her family since her mother and step-father got married. She grew up with him and while she doesn't live at home anymore she still thinks of him as her puppy.

    Looks
Willow stands at and average height of 5'4", weighs an average weight of 115lbs and has an average build. She is thin but has more of an athletic build and has some slight muscle tone in only her shoulders and calves. Her long, dark chocolate brown hair has some lighter brown highlights mixed into them and falls in curls that frame her square face and falls past her shoulders and goes down to her mid back, matching the color of her hair are two defined, thin eyebrows. Her brown eyes match the color of her hair and her eyelashes are long and dark. Willow has two distinct dimples that make an appearance whenever she smiles, even if it is a slight grin; though she tends to wear more of a stern expression. Willow is considered Caucasian, mostly of European descent though her mother does have some Native American in her. It is very, very small, maybe about 20% but she does have some in her bloodline. Willow is fair skinned but she has no trouble tanning. It is a toss up with her, sometimes she tans nicely after spending the day outside but there are other times where she gets slightly burned from her sun exposure. When embarrassed Willow has been known to show a bright red blush that she wouldn't be able to hide. She also has a few scars from a lot of scraped knees and other childhood injuries, nothing too noticeable but of course she can see every single one as if there was a lit up sign advertising the presence of them. Appearance wise, Willow would consider herself pretty average; she thinks she has some nice features but nothing that makes her stand out from a crowd and she has no problem believing that.
Height: 5 foot 4 inches tall
    Weight: 115 pounds
    Hair Color: Dark brown
    Eye Color: Brown
Body Type: Thin and athletic build
Skin Tone: Fair skinned with a tendency to tan.

    Personality
Willow is fiercely independent, laid back, and easy going. She tends not to care too much when things go wrong knowing full well that not everything happens the way that we always want them to. She is no nonsense in her approach to problems and tends to try and find the easiest solution to any problem and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty if she needs to. Willow tends to stay more quiet in social situations, speaking up only when she needs to and seeming more like a loner than a social butterfly. When it comes to earning her trust one must really earn it as she doesn't do so easily. Once she gets to know someone though she is extremely loyal, not ever budging from their side when they are in need and going to any distance to help them when she can. Willow always seems to have an emotional wall around her that is hard to break down, and she can come off as a bit stand-offish and sometimes unfriendly.
Talents: Willow is very adept with using a bow and arrow and has great aim, being able to hit almost any target even a moving one. She can also use a hunting knife, a skill she picked up from hunting with her step-father. Willow has a very uncanny ability to not get lost even if she tried to. Living near the forests in Oregon for her younger years she was always able to find her way back home after wandering around all day, even without any trails to lead her back. She can heal faster than most and even some of the more serious injuries like broken bones can heal in a matter of days. Her endurance is very good, walking around outside on her own adventures for a whole day has built up her endurance quite a bit.
Flaws: Willow is emotionally closed off and is not one to let people in too close. She is slow to trust and it takes quite a bit to get to the point where she is comfortable with opening up to someone. She can come off to some as stand offish and sometimes uninterested in others, although that isn't always the case. She can be harsh at times and she is very no nonsense and will do most anything to achieve her goal. Many people would say she is more of a loner instead of a people person. Willow can be awkward at times, especially when it comes to things like hugging, hand shaking, etc. She doesn't know when or how to approach that kid of stuff and tends to stay away from it all together.
Strengths: Willow is very independent and doesn't tend to loose her cool often. While she can, it takes a lot of provocation to hit that point. This usually makes her the voice of reason in a lot of situations and to the people she befriends they find her to be someone they go to with their problems. She is loyal and is willing to do whatever it takes to help a friend and her own stubborn attitude and high resolve won't let her see things not get completed. Willow also doesn't think too much on the past as she gets that things happen for a reason and tries to not to let it affect what she does too much. She is more interested in using it to help shape her future then worry about how she wished she could go back.
Weaknesses: When it comes to running, Willow is an average speed and although she can jog and move for long periods of time she doesn't do well when it comes to sprinting. Physically she is not extremely strong, being able to throw one good punch but anything more than that would be a problem for her which is why she prefers using a bow and arrow instead of her fists.
Likes: Hiking, archery, art and a good sandwich
Dislikes: Flirtatious and arrogant people, having to confront her own feelings, and being cold.
Fears: Although Willow likes most animals one of her biggest fears is snakes. The mere sight of them sends her running off screaming. She may play tough in most other situations but put a snake in front of her and she will lose her composure in an instant. Willow also hates heights and will have an anxiety attack even 3 or more stories above the ground.

    Life at Camp
Weapon: Willow is most known for carrying a bow and arrow with her at most times and spends a lot of her free time practicing the skills her step-father taught her. The bow itself is made of fine and lightweight oak with very elaborate carvings of suns and laurels on them. It was a gift from her parents when she went back to camp after her first year. The tips of her arrows are made of celestial bronze and have no other special talents involved with them then being able to kill monsters.
Armor: Willow doesn't wear armor, she doesn't like the feel of it and won't allow anyone to put it on her. For something like Capture the Flag games she may wear some sort of padding but when it comes to going out on her own or any sort of adventures she prefers to keep herself as light and maneuverable as possible. She isn't opposed to wearing reinforced tunics but full on plates of armor are out of the question and you will need a lot of luck to get her into it.
    Powers:
Accelerated Healing: Willow is able to heal at a very quick pace when she puts a lot of focus into doing so. She has broken a few bones and they have healed in a matter of days instead of weeks, and she hardly gets sick at all. As a child it seemed like it was something that came far easier to her and while most kids spent their time getting scratched knees and getting sick, Willow seemed to never have a bruise on her. As she got older though it seemed that it took more and more energy and focus to actually do anything. Willow can't fully control this power or even use this to heal anyone, she just tends to find herself not needing as long of a recovery period when she gets injured; with some work on her end. The bigger the cut or wound the more time and energy she has to focus on it healing, but her lack of handle on the power itself means it still takes a few hours to heal even a simple scratch and then another few hours to really feel like her energy is at 100% again. So even though she can heal a small wound or cut on her, the process to heal herself causes her energy to drain and make her feel worse then when she got the injury in the first place. She gets dizzy and even gets headaches after using it and if she focuses for too long she can feel quite nauseous afterwards, this can last for a few hours and she certainly wouldn't be able to or even want to try and use it again for at least a day. She hasn't worked on mastering this power and at times likes to pretend it doesn't even exist, so the time it takes for her to recover can be a few hours. She only uses her focused healing when she absolutely has to.

Summer or Year Rounder: Started off as a summer camper, but now she has changed to becoming a year round camper.
Years at Camp: Willow is now starting her 3rd year at camp. She was 13 when she left home and found Camp Half Blood.
Social Status: Willow more or less considered a loner then a social butterfly. Not that she hasn't made friends or is incapable of doing so, but she is far more reserved and quiet when it comes to social situations. While she does feel comfortable in social settings she just doesn't go out and openly search for these opportunities.

    Roleplay Example
Willow loved the woods more then anything in the world. Her head was clear and focused in the woods, she had no problems in the woods. Things just seemed better in the woods. With her trusty bow and a quiver full of arrows slung over her shoulder she headed deeper into the line of trees that were spotted with the occasional leafy bush. The soft dirt underneath her boots made an almost perfect imprint as she lifted her feet with each new step and the occasional breaking of twigs could be heard breaking the silence of the forest around her. The silence was soothing in its own ways and while most would find being alone to be a not so ideal situation, Willow had no problems with that set up. Step after step nothing but the sounds of twigs snapping beneath her feet, the wind rustling through the leaves on the trees and the sounds of birds singing their own melodies to one another filled her ears and in this moment everything just felt....right.
After a little more walking Willow ended up right in front of a lake, one that looked to be fed through a small spring of water. She walked towards it and bent down, putting her draping hand down to the glassy surface. She let her fingers touch the cool water and as it did a ripple moved away from the point of contact a few feet and distorting the image of herself that was being reflected back to her. She looked at it for a moment as the ripple stopped and the water became still once more. But that was when she noticed the other figure that was being shown on the glassy surface. She turned her head to the side and grabbed her bow off of her shoulder, taking an arrow out of the quiver and pulled it tightly against the string. Her breathing quiet as she aimed, now getting a view of the person in front of her. Had they followed her out there? Or were they just an innocent bystander? In these neck of the woods there was no trusting just appearances and she kept that in mind as she held the bow level and did not allow herself to shake at all, all she allowed herself to do was let 1 word escape her mouth."Hello..."

Notes: Started out as a detailed character sheet but then I decided to switch things around and stuff and well...I'm just gonna leave this here for now since I have pretty much everything on the detailed form but it isn't in that specific order. I'll probably actually use that form and everything and put that in that area but for now I am more interested in getting Willow approved.

Im not staff, but I'm just gonna say this here so that it helps get your form approved more quickly- Future seeing wont be allowed; its in the rules.
However, feel free to wait for staff to comment before you change anything if you're unsure.

I'm afraid your powers have to have SOME sort of limits: How long does it take for her to heal a wound? Whenever a wound gets healed, does she get tired physically in any way?

Loving this form, by the way. Keep up the good work. :)

How many times a day can she use the focused healing? What are the effects mentally/physically? (headaches, nausia, etc)
