Life Before CJ*:
For six years,  Hollister lived a pretty normal life. For a year, she just lived with her mom, twin brother, and Garett.  Then Mr. Rhodes came back and acted like a dad to her. In two years, the Rhodes family became a family of seven. The twins were able to go to first grade before the incident. A week before spring break 2002, a group of monsters invaded their home, trying to kill the twins. The monsters ended up hurting Garett and Carter.  Hollister and Foster’s parents thought it wouldn’t be safe for the twins anymore, so they sent Lupa out to retrieve them earlier.

Hollister carefully made her way to the lake. It has been continually hot outside and she couldn’t stand another day stuck in her Barrack. When she approached the lake, Holli took off her sarong and flip flops and began wading into the water. The lake felt perfect. It was freezing, which was good for when it’s probably over a hundred degrees outside. After several minutes, Holli eventually was in the center of the lake. She was peacefully floating on her back until she heard a loud scream. “Cannon ball!” Some ten year old plunged into the lake, drenching her. Like really? Are kids that stupid? Hollister rolled her eys as she walked out of the lake and headed towards her barrack.

oh, I was using a template to figure it out. And yes, that probably a typo.
Hollister is kind of shy, so she wouldn't want to go into a whole new classroom.
