Daughter of Apollo | God of light
“You only fail if you no longer try.” | expect the unexpectedSinéad sat on a huge flat rock by the edge of the lake, the area which was partially concealed by forest shrubbery, watching the cool, glassy surface of the water. She usually sat there because nobody ever came to that quiet part of the lake, and it was far away from the hubbub of camp. Either way, it was a refreshing summer evening and the daughter of Apollo was content to spend the last moments of the day at the lakeside. As soon as it got dark though, she'd go to the stables to feed Tarquin supper, and then head back to her cabin. Or perhaps practice her archery hunting monsters in the forest. A moving target would improve her aim. Peering into the depths of the lake, Sinéad observed the plants underwater wave lazily about. Absentmindedly, she dropped a nearby pebble in and watched as it plopped into the waters, slowly descending to the lake-bed. She could smell the damp grass from the rain earlier on; the scent you get when you tear a fresh green leaf in half. The sun cast a golden-pink glow on the lake, illuminating the underwater life below. It would soon set.
